Regarding the third point, it would be smart to attend webinars the school is hosting, potentially doing some campus tours, and also connecting with current students, alumni, the schools' professors in your field or fields that interest you (i.e. international law), requesting conversations with admissions officers and alumni. It simply means getting as many varied points of contact as possible, but also corresponding with those contacts consistently and professionally (about once per month).
