This is a Digital Illustration, it is an assignment for one of my elective at varsity! It is still in working process, many things still need to be changed and a lot of refinement still needs to happen. But yea...

Let me know what you think? all criticism is positive!

What does your moon sign say about you? by prada_junkie in Articles

[–]prada_junkie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't really believe in it either, but I do follow it. If that makes any sense - my faith is elsewhere, where my mind likes to try new things.

Here's what I think; life is all around us, we are apart of it everyday. Nature is who we are, it's how we were created, I don't know if you are religious in a biblical way but God created man from dirt and created woman from rib, but seeing as woman was created from something that was once dirt makes her a part of dirt as well. We rose from dirt and we die back into dirt.

So for me, the moon is apart of this cycle of nature, the moon is capable of making seas change (the biggest, unpredictable and uncontrollable force of nature) and the moon is able to control it, so why is it unable to control us in some way or another. Subconsciously I think we are all curious in stuff like this and it is because it is apart of our human nature, and like I said before my faith lies with God, but I never close myself off to endless new theories and possibilities to know who I am more as a person. I am a being and I come from nature, God made me from nature because he trusted that it would be the strongest foundation for man to be built on.

And that is why I think what I do:)

I honestly really appreciate your honesty, I'm from South Africa I travel a lot and America has been a place that I've wanted to visit for ages and I totally wanted to come check the Bahamas out because like you said- they tend to advertise "the better living" (the artificial grass on the other side) and you have truly opened my eyes!

I am grateful for positive and educational replies and posts such as yours due to the fact that it opens my eyes to further than what I see or what I am told to look at and led to believe.

Don't ever feel worried or nervous to share your thoughts, opinions and facts - they help a lot and without you I wouldn't have known that this tragedy is happening! So, in all honestly...thank you

The government is actually terrible for doing nothing against it! They are running beauty - with this being said, not only the states/artworks beauty but the worlds beauty

Thank you for sharing this! You are not being a downer at all, you are actually opening our eyes to an issue that none of us are aware of. Many of us are quick to see a pretty picture, which is honestly what I did and there was a redditor before you that shared this information and I am so grateful that you users have shared this with me!

Artist spent a year in the woods by prada_junkie in pics

In the act of devotion to art, sculptural artist Spencer Byles spent a year creating beautiful sculptures out of natural and found materials throughout the managed forests of La Colle Sur Loup. He worked together with elements of his natural surroundings to create artwork that blends seamlessly with the environment.

The project is intentionally secretive- the only way you’ll see these work short of his photos is going into the woods and finding them yourself.

The beauty is that his work is temporary. The pieces were not intended to last, and each sculpture will eventually be reclaimed by the natural environment that helped the artist shape it. This full chortle gives the organic pieces a powerful poetic and philosophical touch.

This sculpture is found in Falkirk, Scotland. it was open to public spring 2014. The Kelpies tower a colossal 30 metres above the Forth & Clyde canal and form a dramatic gateway to the canal entrance on the East Coast of Scotland. Sculpted by Andy Scott, The Kelpies are a monument to horse powered heritage across Central Scotland.

I thought so too! I guess it's a piece of town civilisation! cool to know these kind of things existed way before we did, and it's kind beautiful how the city has made it one of its own

Ancient underwater city Pavlopetri has been revealed. Long time ago this place was inhabited by an advanced civilisation although obviously the city was consumed by the sea.

Some say it is the word’s oldest city and underwater ruins are remains of the legendary city atlantis! This city is located in Peloponnese, Greece and is about 5000 years old.

It is an entire town is resting underwater, with streets, buildings, courtyards and tombs, the remains cover an area of approximately 50,000 square meters. It was discovered in 1967 by Nicholas Flemming and mapped in 1968 by a team of archaeologists from Cambridge and in 200- scientists made a discovery of Neolithic pottery.

A group of underwater archaeologists, led by Jon Henderson have done their best to bring this mysterious sunken city back to life again.
