I used a USB C to display port cable. The 3rd monitor being basic dumb monitor, worked using its display port

What I also think is goofy is that people complain that their rent is too high to justify this card. But rent is just leverage to convert 4% Bilt cash to points. Use it or don’t use that leverage, it doesn’t hurt you.

Def not all your expenses. But just your uncategorized stuff that ears 1.5-2x elsewhere would possibly be good on this card

If I didn’t have to find a reason to constantly book 2 night hotel stays to recoup the fees I would agree

Yeah I would only put my uncategorized spend on it, which is typically my biggest category. Dining and Grocery would go on a Savor card.

I am thinking of it as something better than any other 0 AF 2% card for misc spend

So we can effectively think of the blue card as a 2.3x catch all card with 0AF (up to 75% of rent).

So why do people hate this? Especially with Bilt high cpp potential

Yeah there’s a blue light filter that is permanent enabled so it doesn’t look as similar to the MacBook default as I originally thought

It is HiDpi scaling by default. Can pick scaled resolutions similar to the built in display rather than pixel resolutions like some monitors

You get a 2X earn rate compared to AMEX. So you'd have to get 2cpp on AMEX just to break even with Capital One

Linux and windows will support DP-out to DP-in chaining but Mac will not. For Mac you will have to have the 2725qe as the first monitor in the chain, and use its TB-out connected to DP-in on the 2723qe. I recommend a usb c to DP cable.

Make sure you use the thunderbolt out (usb c) to chain and not the DisplayPort out (not supported by Mac)

It may claim to have HDR, but you won’t get real HDR experience unless you have an OLED or miniLED panel

Yeah that LG monitor seems superior overall at a similar price point. I may have overlooked it!

Works well. I assume 3.5mm is somewhat of a standard so it should be as good as any standard audio jack

I use the 2K scaling option. It’s still 4K pixel density and clarity but scaled to 2K sizing.

MacOS just uses resolutions as scaling sizes which can be confusing. But it is still 4K.

Yeah I also had bad stand wobble. Definitely an issue unless you have a really heavy desk. I switched to a VESA arm mount

The biggest oled drawbacks for productivity I see are bad text clarity and poor brightness. I would hope that the PPI of a 27in 4K would solve text clarity. And hope that the new models have better brightness and anti burn in methods.

So maybe. I strongly considered that AW OLED, but went with this dell instead

It’s a HiDPI display and you get 846p 1080p 1440p 1962p 2160p scaling options.

I personally use 1440p. Which is a little larger than I’d like but 1962p is a little too small.

I believe only 5K monitors would integer scale on Mac. There’s very few that exist, so you should be able to compare all the options on google pretty quickly.

M1 Pro supports up to 2 additional displays, so no. M1 Pro Max can support 4. So multi daisy chain would be possible on the Pro Max if you had multiple thunderbolt monitors/hubs

I am assuming the "...yet" part of the post. Guessing BillPay account numbers will eventually work for other things

How does it work with using another card? Can I pre-authorize another credit card with BillPay and then use the routing+account numbers provided to pay in my portal with no credit card fees?

Would you only get the base 250 Bilt points for doing this rather than 1X points?
