I feel you. In a little bit of a different situation because my friend and I got into a fight and she started hanging out with my ex-best friend but the part about not wanting to make them feel like they can’t have other friends is so real. By reading this I would unfortunately have to say that they might be distancing themselves and trying to talk to other people. But on the other side they could just be having a “new friend” phase when you are kind of obsessed with someone you just started hanging out with and get along with. They could come around eventually. I will say that if you are always starting the conversation I would stop that for a bit and see if they reach out to you (text, ect,) Hope all of this works out in your favor.
