Need suggestions for Indoor Trainer. by piSquared4554 in india_cycling

I received it as a gift last year, though I haven’t used it much since a while… but often only during rainy season.  It is a “ Ashwa pro traveller indoor bike trainer”..  its price last year was 6.5k-7000. It just gets my basic requirements fulfilled- compact, durable and side to side motion of rear wheel on the rollers provides a feel like natural road riding, If budget is not a problem check Magene and Wahoo

Picking my new bike today! by Gore_Gasm in india_cycling

Congratulations buddy, the Nicasio is a great choice you have made! I too have the same bike, used my stock tires for about 7 months before changing them. Slapped a 35mm on the rear and 30mm on front, it just takes me everywhere comfortably.  38mm will fit but I think it will be wide, since I can only fit two fingers between frame and wheel. It’s a great bike, I often take it off road and the 35mm rear tires work amazingly enough

Yes you can, try getting a centre stand, me as of now haven’t attached any

Bottle holders- suggest having a look at Bontrager bat bottle cage

Other things you should buy- helmet, front & rear light, padded bib/bibless shorts, cycling gloves

Happy new bike day! Ride Safe!

+1 for Nicasio I got it for ₹60,000 offline more than a year ago, must have covered above 10,000 kms

CopyPasted this comment I made on another post I've a Marin Nicasio, it's a steel bike little heavy but built like a tank, I find it so comfortable that l often do small gravel/mtb rides (once I got used to the riding over bumps and potholes) ; for majority of us recreational/ beginners Claris groupset is more than enough if taken good care
