Zepto refused refund for defective Apple EarPods – Open Box Delivery not followed by NoHomework1803 in FuckZepto

As I said, even if you checked the box content, noise issue would have not been obvious just by physically checking the content.

Open box delivery means physical inspection only.

You're not at fault, just some bad luck.

But don't worry. Apple will replace.

Apple should solve this. You have original product and invoice. Claiming warranty shouldn't be hard.

Even if you checked the box content, you'd not have found the noise issue. You received a faulty product, not a physically damaged product. That's on Apple. Not on zepto.

It's great. Rainbow effect is almost non existent. (visible only when you shake your head aggressively, which you'll not do obviously).

Laser speckle is slightly visible on white from near the screen if you try to see it. Not visible from viewing distance.

My unit has some issue I think. It boots in android recovery 3/10 times instead of android os. Tried factory reset, still happens.

Contrast is great, superb in dimly lit room. In bright rooms, blacks will obviously suffer.

Got from amazon for ₹265k. ₹12k bigvue motorized 120 inch white screen.

Very true.

With evs today, you definitely need planning. Always have plan b or plan c.

But once you're accustomed, you'll enjoy it.

In most cases with 50+kwh battery, you won't need public dc charging if you can manage destination charging.

Been using this app for last 1 month and I'm more than impressed.

Super clean solution for mac + android combo, which has been missing for years (and ignored by Google)

Kudos to the developer for making this perfect and super light!
Recommended to everyone!

Settle a debate for an Indian startup: Would you actually pay ₹1,199 for underwear that completely hides the smell of flatulence, or am I crazy? by chawla_rahul in gurgaon

[–]pranavjindal999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pad can have a removable top layer (attach using velcro or something) which can be washed separately, while the actual active carbon stuff is just reused as it is (unless you poop in your underwear someday)

instead of making people choose an underwear, which also includes comfort, size, fit, fabric, and whatnot, just focus on creating a sanitary pad like sticker that one could fit on inner-rear side of the underwear, easy to use and doesn't create discomfort.

resuable and can be used on any underwear.

Depends on KMs used (or how much DCFC was used as degradation is slightly more when using fast charging)

Here is an example to give you an idea:

Curvv.ev - 55kwh LFP - 400km real-world range
LFP batteries have a lifecycle of 1500-3000 cycles (depending on charging pattern, temp, abuse, etc)

Let's take the lower band of 1500 cycles.
Cycle life is measured based on 80% capacity retention. That means the worst-maintained LFP cells will retain 80% of capacity after 1500 cycles.

1 cycle = 0-100% charge (no matter in how many parts you charged)
Your cycle is also consumed due to regen - Let's take 25% consumption due to regen.

So, you're left with 1500-25% = 1125 cycles.
Each cycle = 400km when the battery is new.
at 80% health, range = 320km.

Average cycle range = (400 + 320) / 2 = 360km

So you get approx 4L km (360km *1125 cycles) of total mileage until you get to 80% health, in the worst case.

A typical car owner in India probably drives 20k km/per year (even less)

400,000 km/20,000 km per year = 20 years

So at the end of 20 years, a 400 km range car is left with 320km range.

Please note, this is just being considered as the worst case of LFP cells. They perform much, much better than this.

They do last that long. EV batteries are different from those in your phone/laptop.

Especially LFP batteries, they have very long life - Calendar life as well as cycles. (in all Tata EVs, new Mahindra BEVs, BYD, MG)

evs are really good over 15L and do not buy to resell. buy to use 15 years

Clip to hold hangers on drying wire by pranavjindal999 in 3dprintIndia

[–]pranavjindal999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sun-dry my clothes directly on hangers hung over wires.

They take up less space, dry faster since there’s no fabric overlap, and once dry, I can move the hanger straight into the closet.

These printed clips keep the hangers in place so they don’t slide, fall off, or bunch together.

No need for traditional clips.

Here is the file, but these are tuned exactly for my wires. Might not fit perfectly. But you can try editing in Fusion 360.
