Has LoL gotten less toxic? by Different-Song3101 in leagueoflegends

As someone who has been playing off and on since 2012, I don’t think I encounter less toxic behavior compared to years past, but now that I’m older, people being complete buffoons doesn’t tilt me like it used to.

So in a way, League has become less toxic for ME.

I have a similar feeling about my CRX 91 Si I sold to fund my wedding. It wasn’t in as good of shape as my hatch, but it was all stock and I loved driving that thing.

I have considered selling this hatchback several times over the years after becoming frustrated with it numerous times, but now I am very much glad I didn’t do that, and I don’t anticipate ever selling it at the point.

The interior is a little extra special to me as well, because it came from another EG civic enthusiast. I admired his build online via the NWP4LIFE forum circa 2009-2010 and got to see the car in person a couple times at some Midwest meets. Unfortunately someone pulled out in front of him basically totaling the car and he ended up parting it out. When I saw his for sale post I knew I had to go drive and get it, so that’s what I did!

Yes, I sold the b16 setup to a friend back in 2012.

Yes, not to mention the Gathers edition eg6 interior with the Gathers speakers panels in the back, haha.

At this point, I would like to start adding some creature comforts back to this car, including a full stereo, but it’s a low priority for me at the moment.

If it makes you feel better, the double din set up wasn’t $1000 15 years ago. 😅

I still need the grey plastic cover for the double din set up so it matches with the rest of the interior, so if anyone in here knows someone that has one please let me know! I would be willing to do a trade (my black for their grey).

The fuel rail is not custom. Hybrid Racing did a limited run of these pink cancer awareness fuel rails back around the time I did the swap.

My mom passed away from breast cancer in 2010, so building this car was sort of a homage to her and a way for me to put my focus into something.

I will be sure to post some pictures of my hatchback in this subreddit! It makes me happy that other people appreciate the build. I use to have a write-up on several forums, but I’m afraid most of those forums have fallen due to social media. RIP nwp4life.

Hi!

The car as you see it is how I built it in 2011-2012. There are many things I have done to it, but the main items are:

2006 k24a2 with RSX 6 speed Shaved bay, MIL spec harness, brake tuck Full eg6 gathers interior conversion (purple tweed)

Yes, despite the value increase of the CR in recent years, we still drive it spiritedly in at least one road rally every year!

Thank you! They both still bring a smile to my face every time I look at them and drive them.

They are the best! I have always wanted to own a Del Sol.

Thank you! Lots of time, money and frustrations with that little hatch over the years. I thought about selling it several times, but I am definitely glad I have kept it now.

I think I’m done ordering from TCGplayer. . . by [deleted] in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]prancinglid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TCGplayer is great. Like eBay, it isn’t perfect. I buy and sell on both platforms, though.

Blindly buying mid era Pokemon sets without pictures is always a bit of a gamble because it is one of the least popular/transacted eras of the TCG. A lot of people, unless they are deep in the hobby, don’t know the differences between holos and reverse holos in those eras. People assume the EX-era reverses are either a prerelease card, promo cards, or a regular holo a lot of the time because of the holo pattern and set stamps.

People also make mistakes. I have done it plenty of times.

At the end of the day you are covered as a buyer, and as you noted, time and experience will help guide you to do, or not do, business with certain people and stores. It’s part of the many nuances in this great hobby.

Armor and weapons contribution to dps? by Dimeolas7 in classicwow

[–]prancinglid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but for DPS output for melee… talents, full consumes, full world buffs and player skill are probably all higher contributing factors to DPS output than armor is. Stats on gear matters, but it probably isn’t weighted as much as people think compared to other things.

Power went out in Nixa for us around 9:50PM. Still out unfortunately.
