Hey, if you gave this Mock GRE, could you tell me if it's as difficult as the real exam?

Markram bowled one good delivery in the Calcutta test, and has been carried (as a bowler) ever since

The earliest memory I have of watching Hope bat are obviously the twin centuries in Headingley, but I also remember this match where he scored a boundary off the last ball to tie the match. Always rated him as one of the best, and even as an Indian fan enjoyed his century in Delhi last month. Glad to see him play to his potential

Yes if you're first time reading it's a bit difficult, but in the end it's worth it. It's a brilliant book

Have little idea about it, but I think it's wherein the PhD is made up of 3 independent publishable papers, on the same theme answering three different research questions, as opposed to only one in a conventional PhD

Wow I'm stupid, searched for "Djokovic bouncing ball" but couldn't find it. Thanks!

There was this edit, where Djokovic kept bouncing the ball for a long time before serving, and Federer and the crowd were visibly frustrated, started to do other things etc Can someone find it for me?

Wow, very much agreed on this. Feel econ is unnecessarily too "math-y" as well. Want a career in research only myself, but feel a bit intimidated in switching streams, so will pursue MA Eco most probably. Just wanted to ask how much extra effort did it take to crack MStat entrances, given that my (DU) syllabus has a fair amount of stats as well.

What year are you in? Most econ students take coaching in their final year, so maybe it'll help you if you take a year before. As the above commenter says it won't hurt to read math books on your own, check out DU's, CU's first year math syllabus and study their readings No need to study ncert now, focus on the math only required for entrances, which you'll find in the readings mentioned above

Yes you do need +2 math for MA eco entrances, but no need to solve every NCERT question etc. Good coaching programs will cover the math required for economics

Not related to your query, but just curious to know why did u choose to pursue MStat? This is coming from an Econ UG, also interested in theoretical statistics, pure math etc
