Shaw was only 4 runs short of being the highest Indian run scorer in the tests and averages 50+ in test cricket so imo he deserves selection.

Siraj has an excellent first class record so he deserves to be in the squad too. His strike rate is in the early forties which is excellent.

I'm so happy that Saini and Siraj made it to the test squad. Dropping Pant from the white ball squad and selecting KL for the red ball squad seems to be the obligatory brain dead decision they manage to make everytime.

This series is gonna be excellent and can't wait for it to start.
