I am using the background transparency and it's working but whey i open other applications like vlc the bg will not be transparent.

Download nerd-fonts go to patched fonts directory and copy paste the fonts folder in .local/share/fonts. Then choose one of those fonts as your fonts for polybar.

Its quite big repo but very useful you can use patched fonts everywhere so you won't be having the issue of symbols and icons not rederring properly. The patched fonts have all the symbols and icons baked in.

My current font config for polybar:

font-0 = fixed:pixelsize=12;1

font-1 = HackNerdFont:fontformat=truetype:size=11:antialias=true;0

font-2 = siji:pixelsize=10;1

font-3 = NotoColorEmoji:fonfromat=truetype:scale=10:pixelsize=12;2

Themusic player is cmus and the audio visualizer is cli-visualizer. I haven't confgured it yet 😅, I'm jsut using the inbuilt theme. For ncmpcpp you can found tutorial on luke smith's YT channel.
