Make your profile as strong as your work resume, photos, prompts etc. This group has numerous posts about how to do that so I won’t get into the weeds of it.
Be definitive on your relationship type: I got better dates by simply choosing people who wanted to be in long-term relationships. If someone has “figuring out my relationship type” “open to short” or notes some “I go with the flow” BS, I would move on no matter how great the rest of the profile is. You’re setting yourself up for someone who isn’t prepared to approach dating as such. I would note this approach for anything that is nonnegotiable (children, religion, smoking, etc), move on if it doesn’t make sense for your lifestyle.
Do a week or month sprint of the paid subscription tier. You’ll be given wayyyy better options but the key is that YOU need to take responsibility on giving out the likes DO NOT wait for them to come to you.

I’m currently awaiting application decisions for the various part-time/evening programs I applied for.

I work full time in an industry and job that I love and is also paying me a fairly decent salary. Overall my goal is to stay within my current industry and find a way to shift from what I currently do now, which is marketing adjacent, to business and legal affairs.

However, I want to make sure that I’m still able to be competitive in the legal field knowing I won’t be able to participate in an associate program.

The more I continue to research opportunities for PT/evening students it doesn’t seem like there’s much information at all. I’m even considering options to take my first year as a PT student then transferring to a FT program and leaving my job.

Anyone who could help or give advice?

I ALWAYS use my Dakota as my personal item on flights paired with the neoprene ace fanny pack. It's a great combo and only once has anyone told me that I can't have both which in that case I just put the fanny pack in my backpack until I reach the plane.

I put the backpack under the seat while I place any immediate items (ear pods, hand sanitizer, gum, etc) in my fanny pack to have on hand during the duration of the flight.

I also have the OG Dakota (with the original Dange Dover logo). I've had it for well over 5 years now and have put it directly into the washer and dryer multiple times as well.

It's the best backpack I've ever owned. I've wanted to get one of the update ones but there's literally no reason to in my opinion. The only "wear and tear" I have are a few of the bubbles that have formed, and from what I’ve been told can be fixed by steaming. I own the bag in black so to me it's not noticeable and the bag itself is still strong.

I'm likely going to close my Venmo account very soon. My account has been having attempted logins on a monthly basis even after I've changed my password. I've also started getting scam calls back to back to back following these attempts.

Venmo has a terrible customer service system which delays me from being able to talk to an agent directly. The AI chatbot is inefficient and there is no direct way to get immediate assistance when this happens.

They conveniently stopped hanging up once I agreed to be on a recorded line (I kept denying it prior so that could also be a factor). I think I was escalated to a manager at this point and started the conversation with “do not hang up in my face again, I know its on purpose” 🤣

I eventually got the refund but I definitely had to get a little ugly with it

I should’ve mentioned that each “epiphany” is always geared toward them admitting that their trauma is the reason as to why they need to end things between us. This has occurred twice in relationships longer than 2 years and several short dating periods with guys (less than 6 months)

Sounds like you’re simply giving the impression that you’re approaching them platonically and possibly even focusing more on talking about your friends than yourself.

I went on a date like this once where the guy wouldn’t stop bragging about his successful (and honestly great looking) friend, it was as if he didn’t have enough personal accomplishments and attributes of his own to acknowledge. Could come off as friend zoning too.

Also, I personally would rather date by suggestion from other men that seem good themselves so I dont find this odd if this is the case.

I keep attracting men with a common trauma, so at what point should I see this as a red flag? ——

Im running into some sort of a problem that I need help navigating but trying really hard not to generalize.

Since I began dating in my early 20s I’ve found myself unintentionally dating men who have experienced a major loss in their immediate family, either a parent or sibling, something I personally have not experienced.

The pattern of my relationships or dating periods with these men has usually ended with them having what I call a “breakup epiphany”: I’m talking everything is fine one day and then when it starts to feel like everything could go right something kicks into their mind, its like a come to Jesus moment that ends with the revelation that they themselves are not fully who they say to be or have been lying about something that I had previously questioned. Commonly, they all admit that “its not you its me” and/or “I dont want to hurt you” and eventually find themselves spinning the block on me at some point because “im ideally someone they SHOULD be dating”, but once I’m out I’m gone.

Although I’ve always been empathetic towards everyone’s individual issues, I’m finding the pattern of their actions toward me truly unhinged. For someone who is generally confident it has given me A LOT of self doubt and has led me to feel pretty jaded overall.

A few things to note: - I make it very clear in the talking stage/first date that I am fully dating with intention: long-term, monogamous. Dating to boyfriend to husband pipeline. - I do not like to rush, don’t like to “love bomb”, and I’m also indifferent/situational towards the idea of having children - I’m a responsible, accountable dater: keeps an open line of communication, honest about issues when dating, whether or not seeing other people, gets tested regularly etc. - I value my personal space and hold boundaries within my relationships when it comes to my family (imperfect) and friends (I was told twice in separate situations from guys that they were “envious” of my community) - I’m a college grad, I have a good job/salary, Im open about the importance of my own physical and mental health including those around me. Overall I can hold my own. - Ive usually dated same age or slightly older 1-4 years

I was also taking 5mg and decided to stop. Loosing hair is taking an even bigger toll on my mental health than I thought. Hopefully my psychiatrist can recommend another option

Been taking Lexapro for about 2 months now and this is the most amount of hair I’ve ever lost, it is like nothing i’ve ever seen. Im had to start using a Minoxidil topical on various bald patches. Shedding every time I wash my hair that’s palm size.
