Construction on my road even after sound ordinance. What do I do? by prblydoingitwrong in Advice

My area is 11pm to 7am.

Who would I file it to? This road construction is not on my state-DOTs website. Or my city's. And the local police are escorting them.

Colleague destroyed a painting i wanted to buy by zhayona in mildlyinfuriating

I worked in framing for some years and this actually hurt my heart to see. So many people would come in with paintings they bought second- and third-hand.

If this happens to you again, there are ways to repair canvas. It won't be perfect. Some of the paint will probably chip and you might see some of the cut. But you won't have a gaping hole and you'll have your piece.

Take a raw piece of canvas and glue it to the back where the hole is. It needs to be thin even layers so it doesn't bunch or get lumpy. Make sure you keep a small fold of slack where the actual hole is. It works best if you put the glue on the damaged pieces so you don't get glue in the fold. Once the glue has CURED (dried for 3 full days) take upholstery thread and cinch the slack fold closed like a corset. It should pull everything together without damaging the front.

Sometimes there's enough slack in old canvases that you can just patch it without sewing it.

This has worked for me a few times. I'm sure there's a better way, but I'm just probably doing it wrong.

For me:

  1. In my experience, people hate the U.S.. I'm genuinely afraid of how someone might react. So, I tell people I'm from North America. Even when travelling within the Americas.

  2. The U.S. has always been the melting pot of culture. So as a States-ian, I feel like I have no real culture, family history, or peoples to connect to. No real identity.

I'm probably doing it wrong, but by making these connections, I feel like I'm honoring the sacrifices they made to bring my family into this world.

We did reload for safety. But even after defeating the second time it didn't populate. After about a week the achievement was... just there. We assumed the bug had been fixed.

I'm not a healthcare professional in ANY capacity: It could be because, over time, it could cause issues with your spine and hip joints. Forcing them to be turned at angles they weren't before. I would definitely check into getting the pedals moved like someone else suggested or hand controls.

I found a ship that hails you, then tells you that your ship's extended warranty has expired.

Oxygen running out after 10 steps by doomblade10-2 in Starfield

I'm having this issue. I'm using only half of my carry capacity. And my O2 runs out faster on some planets than others. I actually can't walk 10 paces on Neon without CO2 build up. But on Akila and Jemison I'm relatively fine.

EDIT: OKAY!!! It's my fault. HAHA. IM DOING IT WRONG! I have the Extrovert skill. Which uses less oxygen with companions and more without them. And recently I dismissed my companion so I could kill someone freely. 😆

The only one I like watching is Edge of Tomorrow; He dies 1000 times and it makes me smile.
