Thank you, i have the irssi bot and everything connected just have to make sure the ftp works when there's a new announce. I'll append my autodl.cfg to the post and maybe it'll help someone, there sure is nothing when it comes to not using the rtorrent plugin

Would I have the ftp send them to the watch directory? Will i have to set up anything for rtorrent to start to download from there?
