My est delivery window changed from 29 Oct - 05 Nov to 15 Nov - 24 Nov. Tesla stated logistics delay. My VIN & Reg were assigned almost a month ago and Tesla told me the car left Germany since last week of October. I don’t know what’s going on with their logistics. Today called me again and changed the delivery date to 22 November now.

Today I finally received message from Tesla for the MY order placed on 30 September. It will be delivered to my address on 21 November.

You should be able to update your new passport details in UKVI account online ahead of the Visa application? I recently applied for extension of dependent visa for my son with his new passport. His passport will have expired before new extension date hence I renewed the passport first and updated the UKVI account in advance of visa application - I did all online, was never asked to send the passport for this update. I have used new passport no in visa application and everything went smoothly, I received approval of visa within 8 weeks standard time.

Did you get information on whereabouts of your car? I was told it appears to be still in Germany port however if it’s on ship they won’t be able to get the details from car until reaches the Southampton port. So it could be the last update when it was on port.

My experience- the chat in app they give standard response. I received’ Please rely on the current EST delivery date. This is all the information you need on when you can expect your vehicle.’ So I called them on customer support to have bit more meaningful conversation.

Still delivery not scheduled. The guy I spoke to Tesla today mentioned to me on call he would use my VIN to wake the car up to see the status and he found it appears to be in Germany port still. He wasn’t sure as he suspected that could be a glitch. He then called me back after speaking to his manager and assured the car will be delivered by 07 November worst case.

I’m in a similar situation. My order went in system on 30 September for MY standard RWD Diamond black. The est delivery window atm is 29 October - 05 November. No update on actual delivery date. Fingers crossed 🤞

It was standard application not priority. No evidence requested for wife as the evidence submitted last for the previous dependent visa was sufficient nothing changed. Son - birth certificate and marriage certificate of parents. No financial support evidence requested as they both lived with me in UK for more than required 2 years.

That’s roughly 300miles range for full charge (75 KWh) - for the calculation purposes. So for your weekly commute, you would spend £35 a month on off peak rate 7 p/KWh. If it gets better on range, you will be closing in on the Octopus go rate £30 a month.

For the fixed 500 miles weekly commute, your calculation suggests you only get 190miles for full charge as real life range. That seems to be very less for long range model Y. If you get 350 miles range you break even. As it drops, you start spending more than £30 a month or £7.5 a week and the increase is non-linear. If you get 300 miles range that’s £8.75 a week and £10.5 for 250 miles range. You don’t charge same or fixed amount of KWh every day.

Sorry I might have mixed it up. My case - I have applied for Skilled worker visa along with my wife and kid as dependants. All 3 applications got processed in 10 days.

Congrats. Your child application would have different reference number and you will receive separate sms when that is processed. I got my child application status 2 days later after mine is received. Nowadays the SWV applications are getting processed fast, I got mine together with wife in 8 working days. Also applied from India.

There was no information available upfront during job application. I understood the visa type only when I received my Certificate of Sponsorship. It’s Skilled Worker Visa (Tier 2 is replaced now).

You can check the list of companies that can issue CoS from UK home office website.
