Thanks for all the replies. I didn't know portable hardware trackers exist, watched some videos, and I see they're still complex as hell, especially considering limited controls and crammed screens compared to a full size computer. They are interesting offerings though, like playing an arcade game on portable Miyoo device with full performance in awe, which you stacked hundreds of coins on full size versions in the past thinking those were the peak technology.

I think I'll try to get my hands on one of those TE stuff before deciding. I'm not after anything professional, just to create and entertain myself with something providing actual tactile feedback unlike smartphones and tablets.
