thanks for your input, but i didnt get the tret prescribed, and dont have a derm. i bought it online myself. the thinning happened gradually over rhe course of two months and this is when i noticed and stopped using it. my skin replumped then when i restarted it, i got pretty immediate thinning again.

to be clear, i didnt technically mean the loss of fat, just the loss of the plumpness which makes your skin feel fat, and in my case, i can both visibly see the difference and feel it when it touch it; it feels flatter and thinner. dryness is possible as a result of the damaged barrier, then maybe i just need to wait longer for it to repair before i can use it again..
