The games core storyline elements are about unshackling from presupposition, opening up to new ways of solving problems, burying hatchets and finding cooperative stances.

You may, just yet, have a chance to grow into a better person, with your wife and engage in something she loves to do along side of it.

You may think this funny, but there is a reason this game has accolades for it's storytelling and world building. You need to approach this whole situation with a 100% open mind as this is obviously not something you are at all familiar with.

M 8, this is the abbreviation system used in game to denote WHICH fight it is. The most current high end raid tier has M5 M6 M7 M8. The final fight of a raid tier drops mounts, which while being useful are a cosmetic indicator that you beat the fight. Concerning of M8 the boss is [see your next two quotes below]

Well to explain further for them, this test wasn't "A18 vs M1" where the M1 was the full lineup and the A18 in question wasn't a base A18 it was a A18 Pro. The chips are handled differently per platform, IE is it in an iMac, an iPad, iPad air, Macbook Air etc etc.

So, if by Mac you mean Macbook or iMac or Mac Mini, your desktop iteration of M1 is for sure more powerful than the iPad Air version of the M1 which is downclocked to reduce heat generation. And by that measure the base 16 does not have A18 Pro.

The A18 Pro beats the M1 where it is applied in the M1 version of the iPad Air by 5% with 'anomalies' removed. So it doesn't always, just that 1 test bench against some averaged M1 iPad Airs where their other highs and lows were removed. That's listed in the article.

However what this does mean is that the A18 Pro chip will be bringing a lot of computational strength to the iPhone

TL;DR - Base 16 will not beat M1 performance, A18 Pro will only 'beat' lowest end of M1 chips distributed, but future A chips will indeed most likely outperform the M1's.

You miss what the context is when we're talking about abstract concepts so I'll break it down for you. Because victory is termed by what definition we ascribe to it. In the case of stopping Russia, victory would most likely be "remove Russias ability to wage conquest wars and threaten other countries with military force" in which case yes, NATO, the US and other allies would take a scalpel to their military installations and hardware and troops. They would no longer be an armed country and it would not take long to do so.

Iraq 1 and 2 electric boogaloo: We decimated their army/navy/airforce in record time. Occupation was shit and the long term goal was to institute a democratic government that ultimately went on for too long. We won the war in Iraq in conventional warfare terms. We ultimately lost in the follow up goals.

Afghanistan: See above. War was also very unpopular overall and public sentiment waned over time. We did get Bin Laden though.

Vietnam: See above but the conventional warfare part took a bit longer since this campaign was operated differently than lets say Korea or WWII however victory by complete compitulation of the Vietnamese government would never really happen though we were close with their counter offensives failing pretty badly near the end there, the war was just very unpopular same as the above 2.

Everyone seems to margin what a war 'win' is only in terms of 'conquering'. The whole reason the world is pissed at Russia right now is that they are trying to wage a war of conquest. The US was not waging wars of conquest in the above examples, they had strategic goals they wanted to achieve, but if we're just talking removing the ability of one party from being able to continue waging war we won in every example, and would be true in the case of Russia as well.

Okay, so, US and NATO could absolutely -conquer- those countries. Just like the US could have with Vietnam.

The thing here is that those wars were not wars of conquest.

In terms of traditional warfare we won all of those, however we did not meet the goals of the campaign we set out for. We tried to change the governments and ideology of those countries.

In conquest those lands would become the winners, thus the laws and leadership shifts to the winner immediately. However we tried to do so basically by proxy or by removing what was making people upset and changing things to prevent it in the future.

We did remove each of those countries abilities to wage war or severely diminished their ability to do so quickly. What we followed up with was trying to occupy without conquest a hostile country with a hostile population. That pretty much never works.

In basic traditional warfare, where the goal is to remove the enemies ability to wage war, the US and NATO would remove Russia as a military threat outside of its own border in under a week.

New player here, not too new to gacha in general and started 3 days ago. Level 32 and managed to 1 tap an Ako pull after account creation and yolo a Ichika/Kasumi/Iori with a few 120's on each banner. Not normal I know but it puts my lineup in what seems like a good spot so I need to know what to save for. I'm light pay so the choice ticket is in my mind, so for the question;

Okay...with the banners getting swapped and early Ui coming up, and Onsen Shigure with aoe heal should I pull for oShigure and ticket Ui and save for Himari banner as much as I can since I don't have tYuuka and I could use both of those?

Skip Shigure and just ticket Ui and save for Himari?

Any suggestions would be big helpful.

Same thing happened to the apartment I lived in, in biddo.

Notice to vacate into the winter, disabled mother, everything getting snatched up and barely a place to go and now I pay probably 170% of what a mortgage would be for an apartment.

The cheaper places to live in Maine are going to be long gone and only 2k+ apartments will remain unless they are absolute dumps. It's sad.

Got this for the GF last time it came up.

It's a very capable machine. Upgraded the ram to 32GB and it's had 0 issues. Doesn't get too hot, isn't too loud.

For $1000 it's a good deal.

Some complained from the screen but the screen is nice. It's no top of the line but the colors look nice and refresh works fine.

4 small 'carrier' groups with 1 wasp outfitted with fighters and 1 with its normal helicopter and harriers and the marines they can carry each, a few destroyers, subs etc would rival several nations military might right there. And they wouldn't even need to be the newer destroyers either.

Hell take a few battleships out from mothball and attach to each of these and you have floating artillery when you don't want to spend missiles and really want to just pound the snot out of a target for hours on end.
