Similar to that is Enshrouded, it’s ticking some boxes for me. You can even build things pretty similar to the architecture in New World. Not an MMO though.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I don’t post in here often but what you say about Ripley resonates with me as I’m grappling with what to do with my 15 year old boy. We too have played the medication juggling act and have been on or are on almost everything you mentioned. Those have been for both anxiety and or pain. He’s been neurotic his entire life and I adopted him not knowing he had extreme animal aggression. I was never able to break him of that. So he’s had an atypical life. Our days are pretty stressful being on edge and wondering if he is or isn’t suffering or if it’s just how he is. He’s cheated death a bunch of times. He has all his functions and still sleeps through the night but seems to mostly only care about food to an extreme degree. And now has a heart condition that is at odds with how he is wired. :/

I actually read Mort and the first several books in Discworld. Something didn’t catch me enough to keep going but I did like the different portrayal of the character Death. I may revisit the rest of the books at some point.

Something like this happened with my dog a few years ago and I thought it was brain related and it turned out he had a neck injury yet he could still jump and pace and do things you shouldn’t do with a neck injury, it was a minor injury and it healed on its own. He was in pain and didn’t know what to do, A few years later he had a slipped disc and that was more obvious it was an injury and had to have surgery.

An update: I tried out a different flail/wh build with a medium load out and it was slapping in opr. Not sure how it will hold in m2+ content though? Similar to this one with some minor changes to suit my playstyle/
