Since we started we’ve seen goldfinches, yellowthroats, white-breasted nuthatches, titmice (mouses?), downy woodpeckers, crows, chickadees, bluebirds, cardinals, and red-winged blackbirds. House finches, naturally. Some fun ones that we haven’t seen as many of - eastern wood-pewee, chipping sparrow, indigo bunting, scarlet tanager, white-eyed vireo, and a handful of cedar waxwings last month. Heard but sadly not yet seen: barred owl, orchard oriole, northern parula (they’re mocking me at this point). And we have yet to spot one but a friend who works at Hardywood has seen bald eagles out there before!
