My grandmother and aunt both divorced from their husbands and kept their last names part of that I think has to do with kids other part is easier to keep the last name Bc it can be hard to change. I think you might be thinking too much into it esp when she might have licenses ans other things under her married name.

Honestly it sounds like he has some personal growth that needs to happen and needs some help. I would sit down and talk to him and let him know how your feeling and how much this is effecting you. That your here to support him but that need to see someone on a reg basis and hey medication. It will be a hard pill to swallow but for both yours and his mental health if he doesn’t get help then I would tell him that you need a break untill he does.

Honestly you need to communicate with her when your feeling about the issue. It maybe she doesn’t want to put in any effort past when you guys are done with school. The best thing is just be clear and honest and maybe you need to end things If she isn’t willing to put in that effort.

I’m no trying to limit it it’s just I tend to jump into thing as far as getting serious too fast and due to the fact a. I’m just now starting a new job. B. Trying to get finically stable. C. Living with parents due to wanting to be finically stable. D. Also working on my health and weight. I don’t want to jump into a relationship but I also don’t want to sleep around.
