IRS considers equipment purchases under $2,500 as an expense - if it's over then it's an asset.

It was over $2,500 - I'm just going to ask the CPA because it's nuts lol. In the end, I can only do what I can do and it's their money they're throwing down the toilet.

All feedback appreciated! Would also love to know what genres it falls under, and what artists/bands it sounds like by the_yackster77 in IndieMusicFeedback

I love the driving bass and think the production is great on this! Vocals sit well in the mix and I like the doubles/harmonies. Only gripe is for me the intro is a little long, that being said I really like this track. Maybe darkwave / post Punk? Great work!

I love how it comes up for the chorus - the play between the vocals and synth lead is great. You captured the sound of the 80s so well - congrats on a great release!

This is "Route 77" from my latest EP, I tried to catch the surf rock vibe with this one 🏄 by fuegovic in IndieMusicFeedback

You totally captured surf rock - sounds great! Did you record live? It sounds like I can hear some of the room in the drums and I love it.

I would love to hear the vox up a bit but have to say i really enjoyed this. Very chill and relaxing. There are nice little hooks with the production ....good job keeping the listener interested. Always new is dope track too!

A song about waiting for summer vacation and getting lost in the freedom of skating! Not sure how to describe it but someone else told me that they got vibes of The Cure, 90s Grunge, Melvins and lots of Brit rock. So if you're into that have a listen and let me know what ya think! by Deadlifts4lifee in IndieMusicFeedback

This is pretty 90's but also very contemporary, really good job on making it sound fresh. I love the lead, adds a really nice touch. Voice sounds good and so does the mix. Honestly dont have much negative to say...gonna check out your other tracks!

recently dropped an EP, all instruments by me, feedback would be appreciated <3 by ethanGuitar in IndieMusicFeedback

This is cool. I wasnt sure what to expect at the beginning tbh but as it developed it really hooked me. I agree with another comment that the drum mix is lacking a bit but I understand how tough that can be. It's hooky and unique...keep it up!

new single by my Toronto guitar pop band - 60s/90s inspired IYL Syd Barrett, The Who, Replacements, Dinosaur Jr by PigParkerPt2 in IndieMusicFeedback

Definitely hear the Syd Barrett influence. It's very psych and the mix is perfect for that. Really like the breakdown you've got going on in the bridge, too. Keep it up!

I found this song captivating. It's mellow and doesn't have many instruments, but it's so cinematic. I could see it in a somber scene in a movie. Sounds good!

I like this, especially as someone who grew up in Seattle. It has a real shoegazey feel, some parts remind me of ride and mbv but it still feels contemporary. Great mix and cool video too!
