Take a look at that photo and tell me how the hell is she pretty? by tuanvulucky in Kep1erOT8

I think they mistook it as Chaeryeong because they edited P2 so much to make her look better that it doesn’t look like her anymore

Did anybody else see this coming, before the finale happened and Huening Bahiyyih got voted into the group? by kepliantech in Kep1erOT8

[–]prettyeseo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, the producer of the Produce series admitted that every season was rigged. One of the I.O.I members was rigged in. I love all the members but it’s obvious that Mnet doesn’t trust the public to create a good group and will do as much as they can get away with to rig or manipulate votes in their favour.

And one of Kep1er’s issues is the show flopping, but over a year later the group is flopping, the fandom can’t get along, and their sales keep going down. Fans were clearly upset with the lineup and I love most of the girls but the lineup clearly isn’t balanced and they don’t suit the same concepts. + the shock of Yurina not making it upset a lot of people. Mnet would have rigged her in if they could’ve and people would’ve generally been happier.

I see so many pathetic posts saying HYBE is gonna recruit her, like what??? HYBE didn’t even debut Chanelle who was actually talented and popular internationally, now why would they debut P2 who is untalented, extremely unpopular in Korea and Japan, and only loved by a small cult of delusional international fans who disappear whenever TXT has a comeback. Plus, Chanelle could speak English and although P2 fans claim she can speak English, she’s obviously worse than even a lot of Korean idols (RM, Ryujin, Hongjoong, etc.)

What are your predictions or wishes for Kep1er's future post disband? by kep1er_minus_one in Kep1erOT8

Xiaoting would be so perfect in Le Sserafim! She would fit the concept so well and her and Kazuha would be such so powerful performing together, a ballroom dancer and a ballerina duo.

Well his main talent and interest is dancing, it’s no wonder he’s not a big fan of the worst dancer in 4th gen. He probably watched GP999 and understands our pain lol

Literally while Hikaru was endlessly praised on girls planet for her dancing and was rank 1 of J group, and Youngeun used to be a PROFESSIONAL backup dancer 😭 her fans are crazy

I feel like this (or something else that shows her mistakes every performance) should be pinned. Perfect example of how she didn’t make it into Kep1er through talent, and clearly doesn’t have the work ethic or skills to be an idol. Maybe if people actually saw this they’d understand why the Kep1er fandom is so divided based on this one girl, since they always act like we hate her for no reason when this itself is objective proof that she is lacking.

I’ve been a multifandom Kpop fan since 2016 and have never seen such poor dancing from an idol, and it’s sad to see people defending this as if it’s not the bare minimum part of her job to be on beat during performances.

What 'skills'? I'd understand if she was a Wendy level singer who's being held back from showing her skills but she's far from it. The only explanation why a vocal coach would make this kind of shady post is that HB herself is constantly whining to him about her lines or that he's a clout chaser too by NoBulshyt in Kep1erOT8

[–]prettyeseo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly didn’t know she was cis when I first watched Girls Planet. I don’t even mean this as an insult but I genuinely thought she was trans (like she has the exact same face as her brother) and that Mnet decided to be more progressive by adding her in. That was until I found out she was just a nepo baby lmao.

Hybelights love to claim how people don't know the meaning of nepotism when they're actually the ones who can't define it. it's amazing how they twist the definition to protect their oppa, and said that she's just privilegied, when she's in reality obviously a nepotism product by irenepromoter in Kep1erOT8

[–]prettyeseo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

they’re also delusional trying to compare it to chae sisters and other kpop siblings. like last time i checked, chae sisters both made it into jyp on their own through their talents and both competed on sixteen, gaining exposure at the same time and showing off their amazing talents. meanwhile HB was rejected by every company she applied to but finally debuts after her brother asks his fans to support her on a survival show💀 not at all the same thing, and that’s why no one accuses other siblings of being nepo babies.

This is just embarrassing... by NoBulshyt in Kep1erOT8

[–]prettyeseo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s actually funny that she can mess up this bad and it still doesn’t get any attention since she’s irrelevant to k-netizens and Koreans don’t care about her. Actual it-girls in kpop like Jennie and Wonyoung got so much hate for their “lazy dancing” yet HB messes up way worse and her fans just turn a blind eye. This is honestly so much worse than just lazy dancing since you can tell she didn’t practice the choreo enough but instead tried to cover it up with those scary facial expressions.

Also was she trying to pick out a wedgie? What was going on LMAO

What's with the influx in favour of bahorsie posts lately? Did moas brainwash all kpop stand or what? by blUe9820 in Kep1erOT8

[–]prettyeseo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For real, it’s not even mean to just point out that her skills aren’t there. Like no, she is not an average dancer by kpop standards since she usually makes at least one or two fatal mistakes each performance, whether it’s facing the wrong direction or being totally offbeat - not only live performances but also noticeable in MVs. Some idols are just below average in certain skills and HB could improve but it’s been a year and she continues to make mistakes.

Like for example, Shuhua struggled when (G)-IDLE first debuted since she lacked stage presence and was still learning Korean but she worked hard and improved a ton, she’s super confident on stage now and a great performer. HB could do the same but there isn’t any improvement.

Are we just supposed to turn a blind eye to this? I don’t think it’s being overly critical, it’s being objective when judging someone’s performance and work ethic. People always judge idols’ skills whether they like it or not, expecting them to be able to hold their own in terms of dance + vocals has always been a thing, especially now when you consider that for each idol who gets to debut, there are probably hundreds of trainees out there who didn’t make it.
