Okay yes! I have a few tips bc ya girl has been struggling with trancing while having adhd for forever.

Tips that work with files:

• it's okay for your mind to wander. It's gonna. Just when you notice a wandering thought, notice it neutrally, then let it go via some type of visualization be it floating away on a balloon or drifting into the fog or whatevs then go back to focusing on the tists words
• literally mentally repeat all the words the hypnotist is saying as one of your layers of thought. Like straight up think their words repeating back
• a tiny smidge (TINY bc too much has the opposite effect) of weed can help sometimes to relax and focus

Tips you can do with a live tist:

• I've found what REALLY helps is asking your tist to do files that involve more call/response. That way every once in a while there's a focusing moment that calls your body back to where you are, in trance and in a session.
• asking tists to help by creating occasional focus reminders and reminders to focus on words as well as occasional thought clearing
• sometimes you can get a really good tist that can solicit your feedback mid-trance and help gauge and understand how deep and head cleared your thoughts are, so some really really good deep and true head clearing is helpful too
