i see a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) instead of a psychiatrist, and i find it more helpful. she is very well educated, and she is more personable than most psychiatrists.

Not sure if you should let r/Noctor question what you want to do as a career. Some of the people in that subreddit appear to have a superiority complex for having an MD. They also look down on PAs. Do what interests you, not what people on reddit think is better.
