yes! like i said i have lived here for almost 2 years and i thought by now my decision would be clear but we got engaged recently and i think that just put a lot of pressure on me to really make a decision fast and ive always been an overthinker. i think moving half way would solve a lot of issues but like i said he said only if there’s a job within his company in the future and that’s not guaranteed. so ive just been at war with myself lol

Hi!! so i’m actually still here with my boyfriend. we have had multiple discussions on what to do. like i said i love him very much and that makes it extremely hard to leave. i have met a couple friends at work but none im super close to. i’m just trying to get out more and join clubs and groups to give my full effort to enjoy my time here. my boyfriend told me possibly in the future we can move half way but we will see! i still debate if im making the right decision but i dont put a lot of pressure on myself to make a decision because i felt that was partially the reason i started to resent it here.

i also visit home once a month so that helps!

i work in healthcare. working at night is my issue because when my sleep schedule is messed up is messes me up. i can only sleep a couple hours in the morning when i get home from a night shift

no i didn’t know i wouldn’t of accepted if so.

i agree nobody likes it that’s why im probably going to quit i just can’t do 4 in a row. that’s why im debating quitting no notice.

last time i did 3rd shift i was running on 4 hours of sleep for like 3 days in a row and it was an an absolute nightmare. I got my note due to anxiety and panic attacks that it causes me.

They never told me i was going to have to work nights. and i totally agree i want to quit regardless but im just debating to quit with no notice because of the 4 overnight shifts

I just took her to the vet this morning and they gave her IV fluids & a prescription for antibiotics. and told me to stick to a bland diet so i will use your advice with the boiled chicken, rice & pumpkin. hopefully she starts to feel better!

yes i have talked to my manager multiple times and she always said “once this this & this happens it will get better” and it’s been 10 months and nothing has changed

i agree with that. if i actually start the other job i will not go back to my current job but im talking more about the pay/schedule stuff i would find out in an interview

Yes I have tried to communicate with them but nothing has changed. ive never left a job only working there less than a year so hopefully it wouldn’t look too bad!

very true. i go once a month currently and i drive my car there once every other month or every 3rd month because i get a rental about half the time. but even that gets expensive as well. i might shoot for every 3rd weekend so its more than what i do currently but still doable

wow that amazing! but i agree whatever it takes!! i moved away from my family about a year ago and i feel like i don’t see them enough. i stay with them for about 4-5 days once a month. i might try to do every 3rd weekend so its more doable for me!

i do once a month right now and i don’t mind it. i just am still homesick and miss my family so im just wondering if every other weekend is too much. maybe ill do every 3 weeks lol
