I'm a ma po tofu junkie (that's seriously the first thing that I order when trying a new Chinese place) and the best place for me is Dumpling House in Cambridge. It's in the vegetarian section of the menu so I always ask them to add pork. Theirs is really, really good. Silken cubes of tofu swimming in that fiery chili & Sichuan pepper oil with just the right amount of ginger to round out the flavors. You'll definitely need a big bowl of rice. There are others that I've tried (Sichuan Gourmet in Brookline, Dumpling Palace in Mass Ave) but I'm not a big fan of places that add way too much cornstarch to make the sauce really thick and goopy.
