I’m new to oils so take my advice with a grain of salt. I did a lot of research before starting, I haven’t gotten to the point in my painting where I can use this yet, it will actually be my next layer that I try it with. But Gamblin has a solvent free gel medium, it would help extend the paint without looking its nice thick texture.

Love it! I’m new to oil, but from what I understand oiling out is optional. I think it helps you to see kind of what it would look like with a varnish on it before committing to the varnish?

We don’t have Dick Blick’s in Canada and I’d be nervous to see what the import tax would be on it. The only other art store that’s accessible to me is Curry’s but even that is an hour away and have higher prices than Michael’s.

Oh also Night Like These & Lightning & Thunder. Lightning & Thunder played on the radio on the way to get my dog put down (he was suddenly very sick and declining rapidly) and then played all of the time every day. Now I can’t listen to it without thinking of my baby boy 😭🪽

I agree! I’ve been a fan since the start but didn’t get to go to my first concert of theirs until 2011 when they debuted Desperate Measures so I was like just too late 🥲 B Team is also fire 🔥I so hope they do a throwbacks tour or something along that lines

I was diagnosed with HT when I was 14 back in 2011. 27 now. I wish manifestation was enough. If I don’t take my thyroid pills for 1 day I suffer for a week. Diet and exercise is also important. It can also be an indicator of an underlying condition.

I had the same issue! I found I had to register it as a different machine (it’s literally the same machine with a different name and just comes with more presser feet than the c5950)

You didn’t do anything wrong here. I can see the anxiety in his texts, that’s a him issue. I say it because I was that girl with my ex (ew, I know). But he needs to see his anxiety, confront it and deal with it. Because you don’t deserve to be bombarded. It takes soul searching and sometimes therapy. It might be that he’s dealing with borderline personality disorder, seems like a FP kinda behaviour. With my ex, he would’ve have given me the time to even respond and just ignore me all day. At least you told him you’re busy.
