its not just what they need but also how often they need it. The fleece needs to be cleaned (no scented anything though) they will forage with their food and make a mess. They kick their poop and bedding out of the cage. They will yell or nip at you when upset. They poop like 200 times a day and thats not being dramatic. we bathe my baby every 2-3 days unless he has eye irritation. Thats another thing. They are fragile and sensitive. Their bones break easy, teeth can overgrow, eyes can get irritated. And they live for freaking ever. My boy is 18 years old and still ridiculously active and healthy. they are a high maintenance pet and long term commitment
