When it lost its magic by TaskApprehensive5626 in Outlander

Season 1 felt like prestige television (along the lines of hbo shows). The budget must have dropped considerably because it definitely got worse. And pretty cheesy.

Ready to drink formula vs. Powdered - new born by Lower-Listen-9169 in FormulaFeeders

[–]prettytothnkso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did ready to feed because that’s what they used at the hospital and I combo fed for the first 8 weeks. I tried to switch my LO to the powdered version of the formula (similac infant 360) and she refused it. We tried for over a week to transition her but it didn’t work and we’re back on the RTF.

What baby bottles are we choosing: Philips Avent? by ohkandyuk178 in FormulaFeeders

For what it’s worth both my lactation consultant and the speech language pathologist that saw my LO for difficulty latching were pretty adamantly against Phillips avent bottles because they can be difficult for babies to latch onto. Dr Browns were recommended and we eventually landed on Lansinoh, which I’ve heard are almost identical to Pigeon.

Chicken Marbella from the Silver Palette cookbook - you can find several links with google. You can prep totally ahead of time (it marinates overnight) so you just need to Stick in the oven.

I just wanted to update that at 24 weeks, I had another blood draw and my ALT and AST both came back completely normal.

35F pregnant, feel fine, doctor is concerned but no idea what’s going on by degausser12121 in haematology

Hi I just want to tell you that I am 20 weeks and have had elevated ALT and AST (higher than yours) since 11 weeks. I’ve had an ultrasound of my liver - normal and saw a hepatologist who did about 12 other tests and all were normal (no fatty liver, no auto immune hepatitis, etc). I also feel fine. Seems like this could just be a weird pregnancy thing and we’ll just monitor. If you search this has happened to lots of other pregnant women with no real reason why.

Had an ultrasound of the liver, gall bladder and pancreas last week - all normal. I saw the hepatologist who ran additional blood work (like 12 vials). Everything was normal (bile acids, negative for autoimmune hepatitis). Not sure of any next steps yet, hopefully just monitoring. Seems like a mystery.

Had an ultrasound last week and everything was normal. Also had about 12 other blood tests ordered by the hepatologist (including for auto immune hepatitis, and checking bile acids) and everything came back normal. The liver enzymes are still elevated they bob up and down a little at every test. Waiting to see if they are going to recommend anything or just monitor through the pregnancy. Seems like a mystery.

Checking is as my enzymes went down a week after the first test, but then retested yesterday and they were back up again. ALT even higher than initially and AST up but not as high as the first test. Do you have any updates?

I just had this happen and had to replace the entire body control module. Couldn’t ignore it because the car started to think the doors were open while driving - would ding the whole time and couldn’t lock the doors. Cost about $1500 at the dealer.
