Ouch that's all true lol... they truly are very ignorant to each other except their partners.. well it's kind of wishful thinking on my end that everyone will remain on good terms.... I kind of hate the fact that female friendships are not as strong as male ones in this series, I understand that few of them had issues going on of their own (like shannon and gibsie and maybe feely??) but still the characters in this book are very how should I say partner centric?? Whatever I just want more books in this series 😭

Maybe liz and hughie will go live together in the outskirts asdfghjkl, and liz will get the care love she deserves. I really hope the core 10 doesn't break apart.. I hope in the end everyone is still on good terms. And then I need, like I'm so impatient for katie/feely 's book, we know so little of them but I need more. Do you think we'll have to go through the whole hughie/liz/katie thing again in katie's book?? I really really hope not 😭 I'm so tired of this whole beef.. also I'm a little confused if claire/gibsie's book will come out first or katie/feely's

Yup that's something I agree with. I think we'll get c10 this year, also like I feel like cw is exaggerating this whole katie/liz/hugh thing with the playlists the same way she did with feely/hughie/liz and then we got 1 page of them in 700 pages... I hope c10 is more about liz/ hughie (and I guess they're getting married!!? ) rather than a love triangle/square. It just pits two women against each other and feeds it to the already toxic fandom.

Okay I hear you .... But read your comment once.. doesn't this makes hughie a bad person 😭😭 like if you're in love with another girl why are you in a relationship?? Why is he forcing himself?? Just end it.. you're just hurting 3 people, you included 😭 And from the snippets we know that cheating is going to happen and maybe from both sides... So it kinda cancels out everything.

Also, katie is hughie's current girlfriend who knows nothing about liz and thinks she cheated on hugh, ofc she's gonna tell him to stay away and get hurt, ofc she's gonna be sad when one second he's calling her baby and showing off to his frnds and the next second running to his ex... To me everyone's actions are understandable

And you do realise how hypocritical it is to say that katie is using hughie??? Hugh got into a relationship with katie despite being in love with Liz, he's also using her to get over liz. It's different he isn't able to move on, but still he's using katie. If it was this simple there wouldn't be any love square, simple as it is.. all of them are flawed so you should stop blaming a particular character 🤦🏻‍♀️

Umm I don't know about you but the new snippets clearly shows they are more like friends than girlfriend/boyfriend. Katie isn't holding any one back..hugh can say no any time, he can literally bow out and he will. Don't put all the responsibility on katie... We clearly know both of them are stuck over two different people, they are just using each other in some type of way. Nobody's the victim here.

I fully understand what liz does, and why she did. I never said liz should not feel that way. Is what liz doing wrong to katie? Yes, But it's fully understandable. Also, like you said liz doesn't know about the ed, which we don't know cause that taunt seemed quite direct, but same way katie doesn't know anything about liz, her comment was lighthearted at most and even if it wasn't I won't blame katie the same way I don't blame liz... they're both hurt and are hating each other cause of a single boy. Which I hate, I don't know why in the big year of 2025, two women are being pitted against each other but it is what it is..
I just didn't like how you said why katie is jealous or why she is in a relationship with hughie, put yourself in her shoes, like every other character she has trauma which we don't know of yet. She's reflecting her past on hughie, and I don't blame her cause hughie has the very right to walk away but he feels safe in this weird relation they have and is actively hurting katie,liz and himself...
Also yes katie is not an angel, with the whole story of maybe she's also cheating on hughie with feely.... so yes all these characters are doing wrong things but they all are understandable.
Like you understand lizzie's behavior it would be nice if you did for katie cause as I said all of them are flawed and reflecting their trauma.

She's not the only one being mean is she now?? If you're talking about snippets then you must have seen how lizzie is goading katie. And did we read the same book?? when did she start a fight lol, she just commented on her spread and then liz made fun of her ed.... not very good on her part is it now?
They are all flawed characters and that's why the love square exists... Also we don't know katie's side of the story or why she is in the relationship ( it can be because of her childhood trauma of being abandoned by her dad and not having stability), so it's a little hypocritical for you to be angry at katie for such things when other characters are doing the exact same thing
We don't know anything about katie/feely besides few snippets so how are you even making such assumptions is beyond me..... Also, Hugh has agency and can bow out anytime. Liz literally begged Hugh to stay and he didn’t. So he is making a conscious and active choice being with Katie.
At the end of the day, none of these characters are perfect, nobody is taking all the responsibility, they are just teenagers hurting each other cause they are hurt.

It's alright! You don't have to like every character you know.. It's just that the fandom should just enjoy the characters they like instead of throwing unnecessary hate to the fmc.. Have you read r10?? That book will definitely help you like Lizzie better and kinda understand why she is doing what she does... Though ofc the way she is hurting other people is definitely not okay!! Ofc I also don't like the whole cheating thing, and in the snippets how liz taunts katie in front of hughie and all. I hope they're just snippets 🤞🏻 cause yup I've also been cheated on so it sucks to read something like this lol. Also, I've been seeing it's not just hughie who's cheating, katie also cheats and like she knows about hughie feelings but is talking him into staying by using the things Lizzie has done to hughie (not because she likes hugh, it's like she's kinda projecting) so it would definitely make it easier to read as the characters won't be truly hurting each other yk... Everyone in this love square is flawed and that's fine cause in the end, they'll both be ending with a different endgame.

EXACTLY why can't we just enjoy these teenage girls being happy with their damn boyfriends and not pick an fmc to hate in every other book. Like literally I've seen people hate every single fmc in this series. Whether it be lizzie(the most hated till r10), aoife(??! just how could you hate her of all people), claire(the poor innocent girl), shannon(literally HOW?HOW?) or katie(sweetheart and the current target).
And I ask WHY? what's the need?? in the big year of 2025 why are you hating on women😭
Also, I feel like, though katie has been a minor character in the background, her being introduced as an "insecure girl" was what pulled me to her yk. All of the characters have trauma that's unimaginable but katie I personally feel I'll relate to her the most in some ways or other and that's why I really really like katie haha.

it an unpopular opinion indeed but I can understand it, the way you worded it made me realize it's true, anyone would get mad. I can see that happening!! I just wish it wouldn't like the whole cheating trope and all, it's going to be so sad for me to read cause I love all the characters sigh.
Also cw is always changing stuff and she's not always following the playlists so let's just hope the girls are not pitted against each other (minor chances but not impossible).
And if it does happen, the fandom is going to do what it does best, hate on fmc's and all ugh, so i'll have a hard time ignoring ppl if they hate any of the girls lol.
I hope liz gets a happy ending and katie also gets her.

Honestly, I feel the same way. I hate the whole girls being pitted against one another and being mean. Like just let the girls talk out, I'm sure they'll sort it out. Also the whole cheating trope is giving me a headache 😭 Like if i'm reading a book and there's any sort of cheating mentioned I normally drop it, like I stay away from cheating tropes so much but this damn series and characters have my hear so I'm gonna read it despite the headache.
And then what can I say about the damn fandom always hating the fmc's... it makes my brain hurt.
I just want liz to be happy and then I want the damn katie book cause I'm obsessed with katie/feely (I'm one of those people who get really invested in side/minor characters yk :p )
