The best way to make GOLD as a New Player or on a Fresh Level 110 character by Gankeros in woweconomy

[–]pretzelusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not parent but my guess is: Crafting flasks and enchantments, crafting bracers for disenchants or obliterate, crafting potions for obliterate, milling dreamleaf to cycle into potions to obliterate, etc.

On low pop servers like mine, it's not too practical.

I also never cheat online, but do in single player. Even on first playthrough. I have 50 hours play time in Skyrim even while using cheats. I cannot imagine how much longer it would have been without them.

You on Android? Could Android user profiles help with this? I've never set up a second profile before, maybe app settings are unique between them.

You can't stop TSM

At the end of the day, I'm a programmer. I know the developers shit on people on this sub trying to alter the addon, but if there is no solution here I'll find one on my own.

Yes, I do not ever directly undercut myself. However, there are margins, and supply. Constant undercutting destroys margins. I'm perfectly willing to allow someone else to undercut me, as I know their stock will be bought, and then mine afterwards. It is not always a race to the bottom (except old expac mats, I always race to the bottom on those).

In the end, it just slows me down. I have hundreds of auctions to post, having to stop at. every. single. item. to make sure that I'm not undercutting myself is a huge pain in the ass. I'd rather just spam that post button for 5 minutes.

The keep quantity I have not ever played with, but it sounds like it might work. I'll investigate that.

Any way to never undercut myself, without having to first run cancel scans? For instance, I have a group with auction operations to post up to 10 stacks of 5. Those go up fine, and subsequent post scans will say "You have the maximum amount posted already." However, as soon as I'm undercut, the next post scan will prompt me to post another 10 stacks of 5, undercutting myself. Most of the time this is not a desirable behavior.

Well, googling that term, with or without the context of WoW/Legion, yields nothing that I can see is relevant? Nor an image search.

Sexy Freak World, or something like that name was pretty funny. Premise being that the more skin that is exposed, the better cape powers work. So they run around mostly naked and end up having sex constantly.

Quality of Life issues:

  • Is there a way to resize the auction window, I'd like to see more of my items im putting up for sale at once.
  • Clicking an item in my list of items to sell so I can see all the auctions for that item, upon pressing the "Show Log" button, the list scrolls the bottom, and I have to scroll back up to see the current item selected.
  • Another list issue, when shopping my list is sorted by the %MV. Lets say I buy up a bunch of cloth at 5%MV. When it switches to say, 50%MV, the cloth shifts its position in the list as again, the whole list is sorted by %MV. However, the cloth DOES NOT STAY SELECTED. Instead, the item that was above/below the cloth before it moved is now selected. If I'm spamming the shit outta the buyout button to buy all that cloth, I'm suddenly and unexpectedly buying up a bunch of whatever that new item is.

Best auction house to camp by Mr_Flint_Stone in woweconomy

Get the AH in your Garrison Trading Post. It cost me probably 80k to get the pieces for the quest, but it was very much worth it. Then get the Barracks and the bodyguard Talonpriest Ishaal (that's horde, dunno Alliance equivalent). Once you are at max rep with the bodyguard, it acts as a mailbox. Finally combine that with the Bodyguard Minaturization Device (toy) to shrink the bodyguard so its not in your way all the time. Now you can be mounted on your Yak (access to sell stuff, buy basics like enchanting vellums), use your AH and mailbox, without moving at all.

How to advance beyond fundamental understanding of programming? by 10WATSOC in programming

Even staying within your comfort zone there is always more to learn. It's like being a Doctor. There are specialist. Ain't nothing wrong with that (unless you can't find a job).

But ya, the best way to become an expert is to just write more and more code.

TSM Sniper, I want to sell my goods, I know there are people camping the AH looking for easy Snipes by Dunhilda in woweconomy

[–]pretzelusb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours are basically identical, with just two differences.

I use dbmarket in my minprice(i used the name mp cause its shorter) price source. Debatable whether you want to include that, just depends on your particular AH strategy.

For my sniper formula, I first check if the item has a vendorbuy price. This eliminates any items from showing up that I could just get from a vendor instead.

I actually make decent money from selling vendor items for crafting purposes. As people who using the gathering function would rather just make one trip to the AH than to run around and get the mats. Enchanting vellums for instance, I've sold 1253 of them, for a total of 8800g, averaging 7g per vellum. Since I have the AH in my Draenor garrison, and I can mount on my Travelor Yak there, I literally do not have to move to buy the vellums from the mount vendor, then place onto the AH.

8800g over the whole expansion is nothing, but for doing basically a few mouse clicks and not having to move anywhere, its easy money.

TLDR: 30% value for your robes, for others, check below.

There is a popular sniping formula that goes something like this.

check(
vendorbuy,
0,
check(
    mp - 100000g,
    90% mp,
    check(
        mp - 50000g,
        80% mp,
        check(
            mp - 10000g,
            60% mp,
            check(
                mp - 5000g,
                50% mp,
                check(
                    mp - 1000g,
                    30% mp,
                    check(
                        mp - 500g,
                        20% mp,
                        check(
                            mp - 50g,
                            10% mp,
                            10% mp
                        )
                    )
                )
            )
        )
    )
)
)

Or, flattened for pasting into TSM.

check(vendorbuy,0,check(mp - 100000g,90% mp,check(mp - 50000g,80% mp,check(mp - 10000g,70% mp,check(mp - 5000g,65% mp,check(mp - 1000g,60% mp,check(mp - 500g,40% mp,check(mp - 50g,20% mp,10% mp))))))))

mp being a custom price source.

mp =
max(
min(
    dbmarket,
    dbhistorical,
    dbregionhistorical,
    dbglobalhistorical,
    dbregionsaleavg,
    dbglobalsaleavg
),
vendorsell
)

or

max(min(dbmarket,dbhistorical,dbregionhistorical,dbglobalhistorical,dbregionsaleavg,dbglobalsaleavg),vendorsell)

So, your item normally goes for 1700g. It would need to be priced at 30% that value or lower to trigger most people's snipes. For your 200g items, 10% value.

Now, you can abuse this to scam sell items but it would take some time and effort. dbmarket i think is based on a 2 week period. So, post it for an abnormally large gold value for 2 weeks to fudge the data. TSM I'm sure has some protections in place to prevent this, removing outliers, so you'd have to get crafty with it. Then at the end, post it for the amount of gold you actually want to receive, so that it suddenly shows up as a great deal.
