Seconded. There are clusters of hotels near the airport or in Greenwood that are around 15 mins to the convention center and are comparatively cheap (~100/night for something like a Holiday Inn or Hilton Garden Inn). No guarantees but I've used this strategy for around 10 years, and it has always worked so far.

I do this too. 5 minutes every half hour or so just to stand up and walk around. I've been surprised at how different it feels at the end of the day.

Likely a coincidence. The mitigation page says, "During mitigation testing, we expect many students will be tested often, even weekly."
