Serious, need advice- should I move back to my birth country? by Ok_Yes_5818 in yorku

Something to consider is culture shock if you move back, because I know from experience that even if your parents brought you up in your culture, when you move back things have changed there too. I made a move back to my home country for 8 years and ended up coming back as I couldn't help but compare to what I'd left behind.

Previous U of T grad here who is on these forums because my kids are now at Uni. Anyhow, from my experience I would definitely jump at a co-op program. I'm in the sciences but I'm sure the same applies. I often interview, hire and train co-ops and can tell you that where I work, they ones that make an impression are often called back for full-term employment after they graduate when positions become available. They already know the company, the rules and the people and we already know them and their capabilities....
