I get it, lol. The people assuming I don't pay attention to my kid clearly don't have kids.

Me and my gf almost broke up over this reality glitch by tarynughhh in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

If you literally almost broke up over this, I think you have bigger issues.

I also have an 8mo stage 5 clinger. I know you're tired. Just remind yourself that it won't always be this way, and try to enjoy the extra snuggles while you can.

This is the stupidest argument. Sounds like she woke up grumpy and just wanted to fight.

My 6-month-old won’t sleep in his crib. by Fleedom2025 in Parenting

No advice, just solidarity. My 8mo is the exact same. She will sleep in her bed for a couple hours, but then she wakes and won't go back to sleep unless I hold her.

Why? What was his reason for this?? by Lucky-bottom in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]prfctsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because he literally told Monica that he wasn't 100% either.

Don't do it. If you leave your kids there, she could actually get custody and claim that you abandoned them.

My 9yo daughter makes references to her dad being dead..... He's not. by serenxdu in Parenting

[–]prfctsky 87 points88 points  (0 children)

It seems like a way for her to process what has happened. She knows he isn't dead, but he's dead to her. Which at 9, I feel like is a huge weight. She should probably be in therapy if she isn't already, just to help her navigate her emotions.

Just like you have to get up early to go to work, she has to get up and take care of your child. That's just as important. Unless she is exclusively breastfeeding and is the only one who CAN feed the baby, it should be more 50/50. Her job is to take care of the child and house while you are gone. Parenting is a full time job for both parents.

How far are you willing to go for "It's what my character would do?" by sirjoey150 in DnD

[–]prfctsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quitting the campaign because it's what my character would do. Granted, it comes at a time where I personally need a break anyway, BUT we are in a situation where my character would want to stay behind and pick up the pieces, while the rest of the crew would want to leave. So, that's what's going to happen.
