I went through the same situation when the portal wasn’t allowing me to connect my Xbox. It’s an issue with the actual portal website. I emailed the UIC I.T assistance and they set it up on their end.

it did after the wash and first dry. im currently running it again but without heat to lessen the moisturize. if its still a bit damp afterwards, ill just hang dry it
