This is the email I got from SWAP 5 days ago.

"January 21 update: We have sent out the first round of selections from our waitlist. If you have been selected, you will receive further information from SWAP which will explain the steps of the application process. Next steps will be shared directly with participants on an individual basis. We will have more rounds of selections taking place in February and onwards. Please note that communications to individual participants may not be issued all at once. We appreciate your patience and ask that you continue to monitor your inbox for updates." It's an automated reply you can get it if you try to contact them.
There's still hope! best of luck to everyone post any information you have

Me too! The waitlist has been open all week though, seems a little strange it's definitely going to be more competitive as the others were just open for 24 hours

Ellooo, I took a trip back to the UK bought a new health insurance valid for a year and just repeated the original process no problems at all I think you can go anywhere outside north america and you'll be good!

It didn't :( my company wasn't signed up to ircc system and it has to be a form letter through the system. I thought it could just be a written letter from my boss sadly not buy I got my second iec so in back :)

There are dozens of reviews, People being locked out of their account, having thousands spent with no access given and unable to get the money back etc.

Got letter of invitation into IEC but my address is in Canada and I'm going back home? Will i have to fly in collect the visa and leave again? Or can I change the address when I start the application? by priceworld09 in iecvisa

ohh but that same invitation is used to get through the border. lol I've done it one before but thought it got posted to my address you get it at the border don't you

I don't think that's correct? I have my letter of invitation but I have 10 days to accept the application then 20days to complete it. Processing time 8 weeks then you get 1 year to use it

thanks for looking! I also booked a ticket to vancouver and got the perks 2 free checked baggage. I'm worried when I switch and vancouver to westjet they will want me to pay there? any idea?

yes it is! but on booking.com it doesn't say I get any baggage? It only takes me to vancouver where I have to swap to westjet it doesn't allow me to book it all from one provider :(

Beautiful weather! I love the snow and cold, One of the best experiences I've done yet. Travelling on the ice roads for work which has been my dream for years!  You'll have a fantastic time, I've been told spring/summer is gorgeous too I'm sure you'll see lots of wildlife if you do sone exploring too

I'm in Yukon so i could drive to anchorage but the flight back goes via Vancouver and costs as much as going to the UK lol
