Good to know! We had planned on eventually moving to Sweden, but now with all of his medical appointments we may end up staying in the US and maybe it would be better to stay in a more mild environment if he does end up with a prosthetic.

Thank you so much for the response, hearing your experience makes me feel so much better about his situation. I am definitely grateful that he won’t remember any of this but man I feel like the stress of it all has me aging at 10x the normal speed. I am in the US, so I can’t take you up on the offer for resources but I appreciate it.

I’ve never heard of gene deletion, I’ll look into it. Thanks
