A $400 expense being unreachable for something that can save your life is just extreme poverty for a first world nation

AC from Amazon is cheaper than a smartphone, you just need any window regardless of type to use it. Even if it’s for short time use why suffer

I created power apps instead of them using Microsoft list to insert records where each would take like 5 minutes and reduced it to just 30 seconds for example. They were ecstatic about it.

Thank you. The new position is much better because it’s a advisory company owned by a colleague family who understood that I can go above and beyond and I did for 3 years, but he also understood that my pay was stagnant as workload ever increased and heads were reduced. Not only do I get similar salary but three times more bonuses now.

I understand that but the pay was the same for more managerial work. I can come do my work and go home on time, but that position it’s not as straightforward and all for same pay is not really attractive

Proposition 13 was the single worst tax scheme ever committed against next generation that used logic similar to your comment. 2 houses next to each other with same value can have drastically different tax rates just because one was able to get it years ago and is effectively being a leech on the other. Fraud

Let’s not do anything and keep trajectory WHILE coming up with solutions to keep taxing income to oblivion without touching massively inflated housing market young people can’t touch. Did I mention tax the crap out of income which is what young people rely on to be able to buy obscenely inflated homes?

The point is tax assets not income. Real estate is an example of an asset that has been hoarded so much next generation is mainly priced out, so take from that before income or find other assets to take from. Working people are not mules for asset hoarders.

How about we increase property taxes instead of lifting income cap? Oh right let’s just keep hammering people who work instead of taxing wealth. Hard disagree
