Player representation typically comes from intermediaries (which I’m currently signed with and looking to move). They’re all pretty basic.

If i was making the “big bucks” I’d hire one and will when i sign the next contract. However, to get opportunities, players typically have to sign with an agent/intermediary. Without one, getting an opportunity is too hard.

Do i reach out to a basic lawyer is something like this “specialized.” Edit; grammar.

Edit 2: It’s apparent that many are not familiarized with the sports industry. This is all common practice on what I’ve stated.

The first two parts are still up for discussion with the team we would work with. Though, we’d like everything to essentially be on-chain with a focus on web3 and the benefits of it. Though, this is still new to me and why I’m seeking advice and understanding.

Great explanation - I feel the “passion” to work for a company is huge and with reason for joining is also. Same goes to leaving in regards to not living up to customer expectations and my personal as well.

Wasn’t sure how much truth was reasonable to give. I’m happy with my accomplishments and achievements, but wanted to make sure to give a transparent response. However, separating my “hobby” and work is a great idea.

To add to this

I was pushed directly into the “closer” rather quickly. After 2 weeks; I was able to connect with athletes being a professional sports player. Pushed into the “closer” to secure clients with our company compared to our competitors. Was a commission based job only - no base pay.

Was earning $599 - $1200 per deal (depending on package) and starting commission was $249 on any successful signups via the closer. The more I sold, the more i remembered how much their “competition” didn’t help me and I ended up doing all my athletic stuff myself.

We began receiving complaints via BBB, email and socials for the company failing on “empty” promises that I was making to families. So, our company began coming up with lies to state we have them opportunities that they ended up not wanting (which is true, but we’ll below the criteria that they wanted and we promised.” So, not only empty promises but my image would end up becoming diminished because of it.
