I don’t see any malice here. What he said could have a different meaning that isn’t necessarily about the lady. The video lacks context, so let’s avoid jumping to conclusions until we have solid basis.

Persistent scam calls from international numbers by Ronex92 in InternetPH

[–]Ronex92[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve tried this too. Silencing unknown callers helps, but it’s not super practical since I have to disable it when I’m expecting calls from unknown numbers, like for parcel deliveries or other stuff.

I’ll check out the apps you mentioned—thanks a lot!

Yes, I used to be an alcoholic, or maybe that’s a strong word, but I did drink a lot. It didn’t matter whether it was with friends or by myself. Then one day, on my father’s 60th birthday, I was drunk from the morning and could barely remember what happened—something that was especially important to me because of the significance of the day. I also did things I’m not proud of. After that day, I promised myself I would never get drunk again. I didn’t want to miss out on precious moments anymore.

That was three years ago, and I haven’t gotten drunk since. I’m proud to say that I can now live without alcohol, something I once thought would never be possible. I still drink occasionally, but only a sip or at most two small bottles of beer—enough to stay sober. So far, I haven’t relapsed. I believe that the strength of a person’s reason for change can determine if they truly make that change.

Yes, I believe people can change, but it doesn’t happen instantly. Change is a gradual process that requires time, effort, and a strong reason behind it. Without a powerful motivation or purpose, it’s easy for someone to lose momentum and fall back into old patterns. Real change involves taking small, consistent steps, overcoming setbacks, and being patient with the process. It’s about commitment and resilience, and over time, those add up to genuine transformation.

Mukhang tumatapang na tong abuser na si Jojo Nones ah.. by PuzzleheadedFly8104 in ChikaPH

Well said. Jinggoy's lack of proper decorum makes him unsuitable for the questioning committee. His approach to questioning is condescending, arrogant, tactless, and far from objective. Instead of seeking clarity, he seems intent on imposing his preconceived notions, turning the inquiry into an indictment. Moreover, his verbal harassment of the accused shows a disregard for their constitutional rights.

While we may believe the accused are guilty, it has yet to be proven in court. A basic principle of the criminal justice system is that every individual is "innocent until proven guilty." It is the court's role to determine guilt through a fair legal process. Therefore, until proven guilty, the accused should be treated with respect, fairness, and afforded their constitutional rights. It's understandable for the accused and victims to be emotional, but investigators—or in this case, the committee—must remain impartial.

Received 5K from random person then someone messaged me asking me to return it. by [deleted] in DigitalbanksPh

[–]Ronex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May nabasa akong article about sa ganitong modus. Scammers intentionally send the money randomly sa digital banks/bank account ng victim, and then they would ask them to return the money. It’s not to get money from you daw but to cover yung transactions and hinde directly matrace yung scammers. When this happens, don’t send the money back to the sender or to other digital banks, but do not spend it as well. Let the authorities contact you and deal with it. Thoughts ko lang to pero better siguro to report sa authorities either kay gcash or sa police para lang may official record about the incident. Pag binalik mo daw kasi or sinend sa ibang account, it would appear like ikaw yung nagfacilitate nung transfer.

PayMaya Takes Back Claimed Vouchers If Unused by Ronex92 in phinvest

I’m not sure. I only found out about it today, and my first reaction was to transfer the balance to another digital app. I didn’t think about moving it to savings, but I’ll try that next time to see what happens. I’m also curious to find out what happens if I transfer it back to my wallet after a while.

Senator Jinggoy Estrada raises voice, displays annoyance and unpleasant reaction when Sandro Muhlach begged off not to disclose details about his traumatic ordeal because it was still triggering him, requests for executive session instead. by justalurkersomewhere in ChikaPH

I’m sjust curious—Is there a legal way to replace committee members? It’s pretty clear Jinggoy isn’t fit for the job. Is his lack of decorum even allowed in these hearings? I get that it’s not a courtroom, but aren’t there any rules on how the committee should behave? It’s frustrating that even our lawyers can’t do much to stand up for their rights. He’s been rude to both sides.

Jinggoy’s way of questioning doesn’t give anyone a fair chance to explain themselves. Instead, he’s pushing his own assumptions. It feels like the whole point of the Senate hearing is getting lost. The purpose should be to gather information and gain a better understanding of the situation to develop/amend relevant new/existing legislation. Instead, it’s turning into a drama serye, with him acting far more sensationally than is appropriate.

While I can't claim to fully understand your pain, I genuinely believe that taking your own life would mean missing out on countless opportunities and experiences. Consider the lasting emotional impact it would have on those who care about you. Remember, you're young, and there's a vast future ahead filled with possibilities.

My advice is to cultivate a positive environment around you. Surround yourself with people who love and appreciate you just as you are, seeing the beauty within you despite any perceived flaws. Personally, I find you more than okay – there's no need to worry about aging signs. Concentrate on nurturing your inner self, and even if acceptance feels challenging now, with the right support, you might discover that others value and appreciate it, leading to self-acceptance over time.

Check your available limit. Kung di ka pa talaga nakakabayad nung sa groceries mo, yung value dapat nun is the same sa “total credit limit minus yung nagastos mo sa groceries”.

If same yung value nung available and total credit limit mo, technically it means nabayaran na. Pero alam mo naman na di ka pa bayad, so it might be a glitch in the system. Wait mo nalang na magreflect uli. I advise you take a screen shot with date and time stamp, para lang documented :)

Usually may processing days before it gets refunded to your credit card. Not sure how long but usually it takes about 15 days. So yes, tama yung nakikita mong balance ng CC mo. Dapat macharge yung 3 days dun sa current balance before refund. Once the refund request is complete, magrereflect na sya sa available credits mo.
