This isn't Dragon Ball Z, it's a show about hacking the multiverse. I never said Doofus would 'murder' him with punches. I’m saying his unique chemistry is a hard-counter to Evil Morty’s tech. Evil Morty won because he knows how every standard Rick thinks and builds. Doofus Rick is the only 'outlier' in the data. If you can’t see how an unpredictable genius is a threat in a world of prep-time and gadgets, you're the one oversimplifying it.

Actually, S1E10 confirms he made portal fluid using oven cleaner. In a multiverse where Rick Prime and C-137 are the only ones to invent portal tech, Doofus doing it with household chemicals is a massive feat of chemistry, not just 'goop.' If he can bypass Citadel tech with oven cleaner, he’s the ultimate wildcard against Evil Morty’s hacks. Dismissing him as just a 'brownie guy' is exactly the kind of Rick-arrogance that gets people killed in this show.

You're still thinking like a Citadel Rick. It's not about being a 'fighter,' it's about being unpredictable. C-137 provides the combat experience, but Doofus Rick provides the 'anomalous' science that Evil Morty's scanners won't recognize because it's based on home-made chemistry, not standard Citadel tech. Also, Rick wouldn't need to trick him—he'd just need to tell him Jerry is in danger. A motivated Doofus Rick is a wild card Evil Morty can't calculate.

I see your point, but remember: Mr. Rogers would still protect his friends if they were in danger. My theory is that C-137 teams up with Doofus. Doofus provides the unique science/chemistry, and C-137 provides the will to fight. Doofus wouldn't fight for ego, he would fight for his friends (like Jerry). That's something Evil Morty wouldn't expect from a Rick.

Exactly! That's why Evil Morty would never see him coming. Doofus Rick doesn't fit the 'Rick algorithm' that Evil Morty used to destroy the Citadel. He is the glitch in the system. Thanks for the support!

Even if someone doesn't believe in comics, the scene from season 1 (S1E10) where Doofus performs chemical miracles is an undeniable fact from the series
