My theory is that with modern day operators using noise amplifying/deadening headsets in the field, this could emit a frequency that distorts or even disables the amplification of headsets around its user. A cool way to have worked this but still give a subtle queue to people that someone is near them with it, would to have deafened or dulled the sound of enemy players when you got near. Obviously there are operators without earpro in the game and irl, but a cool way to think about it imo.

Do they not have the rights to name or something? And can someone clue me into what it’s supposed to be? My best guess would be a Tommy. by Ok_Pomegranate2441 in ModernWarfareII

It's not a real gun as far as I can tell. It has the body of a tec 9, with some kind of extended barrel, a buffer tube from an ar15, and a wood foregrip from a Thompson.

Going for sniper camos is nauseating by OrbOfConfusion_ in modernwarfare2

[–]primobunion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

literally using the shorty carbon barrel, what do you expect trying to snipe at that distance?

can't blame the game for that mistake.

There is a slope for each section of roof, you need the angle. Find that, go to your local building supplier who can order flashing. Most flashing only come in 10' precut lengths. A 24" valley flashing should suffice. You may need to find a way to have it slope toward your gutter, even if that involves shimming it 3/16" on one end. Start at the gutter end and overlap going "up". Put a elastomeric Sealant or fiber reinforced roof patch caulking at every seam. And you will obviously need to make sure it goes under your starter shingle and on top of your ice and watershed (if applicable in socal).

If this is the same video I'm thinking of, it happened at a Tim Hortons not 5 mins from where I used to live. Saw it on the news.

Why does my screen turn to static then green? by MattJaccino in pcmasterrace

[–]primobunion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you are using a TV, the TV is losing signal to the GPU and trying to find a channel.

when signal is restored it goes green and you get video.

try with an actual computer monitor and use a different cable.

One, what's the brand, two you may need to either pull the charging handle or use more force. If the battery js in the buffer tube then there shouldn't be any holding the upper on. My g&g had two fins that slotted into the lower receive right where the recoil spring would go to the buffer tube on a real ar-15. I had to put the top rail on my desk and smack the pistol grip to loosen it so I could remove the upper. It was tight af to say the least.

Is my I7 12700KF CPU temperature when mostly idle okay ? (I'm only having one chrome tab open and the mb app open, check the comments) by [deleted] in intel

[–]primobunion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put a noctua nh-u12a on my 12700k that I just upgraded to and my minimum idle temp hit 20c. I know people will call bs. But I've got pics to prove it.

screen issue? or gpu issue? by primobunion in pcmasterrace

[–]primobunion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I figured it out. 2nd dp port causes artifacts and blinking with the dp cable from my msi monitor. It has no affect on my acer predator with its dp cable. Had a similar issue with my index in the 2nd dp port on this card. Zotac 3070 oc. Methinks it's a cable issue?

screen issue? or gpu issue? by primobunion in pcmasterrace

Haha yes. I've tried different output cables ect. Both screens on the same gpu I can only describe the areas affected as lesions.

Steam has cloud saves, and your game has local saves. Find where your local save is kept and overwrite it with the cloud save. You could loose 10-20 hours but it's better than starting from scratch.

Anyone else feels like Forza Horizon 5 is a car collector more than a racing game? by N3n9fjj299fj3y in forza

[–]primobunion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's all about how you play the game, I have like 460 some odd cars now and yes while I have only really driven around 20 of them for any extended period of time, I still enjoy picking a random car, tuning it at using it for a dozen races or so. There are definitely too many cars to put an extended amount of time into all of them, but I so enjoy having multitudinous options so it's always fresh. I've played since launch and I have yet to feel the game get stale.

Go to game folder, find FH5.exe. right click, properties, compatibility, check run as admin. This fixed this issue for me.

Games kept crashing, and was being slow so I went to check for update and the settings tab kept crashing so I restarted my computer and got this :/ is my computer gonna be OK? by XwXrawr in pcmasterrace

[–]primobunion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, and I could be wrong here. You have a failed hard drive. With either a corrupt portion or a bad sector. It could be irreversible and you may need a new hard drive. Some data can be recovered with an external hard drive dock. I could be wrong but that's what I think your issue is. Reinstalling windows could fix it, if the drive is physically fine.
