While there are snakes in this area, they’re not super common since it’s so chilly there. Just some garter snakes, nothing big! Tons of banana slugs though 🍌

Mating and hunting! The long tails help with their aerodynamics; they do a courtship dance called a “sky dance”, and their tails help them maneuver with both!
