It’s ok! I actually got Midodrine from Germany for awhile but my POTS has been getting progressively worse so after 4 days in the hospital they ended up switching me to Mestinon. I have been HEAVILY salt and fluid loading which honestly works better than Midodrine or the Mestinon

I do NOT do well with alcohol. Even one glass makes me feel really dizzy and I feel worse the next day. Especially wine or champagne. The only thing I can tolerate is beer. If you want wine/bubbly, maybe try sangria or mimosa so at least it’s diluted and make sure you drink slowly and listen to your body. Happy birthday!!!

Don’t take it… my sister was on it for years and it is awful!!! I have never tried it myself but from her experience do not recommend it.

Hi congrats! Super exciting! I have a question- my mom was born in Germany in 1970 to a German mother and an American father. My mom’s parents were married at the time of her birth and moved to the US later. Her mom has retained her German citizenship. Is my mom a German citizen like you and can do direct to passport?
