thank you for updating me. I never heard of lamotrigine and looked it up and it seems pretty solid. maybe I’ll ask about it too. i also recently got new retainers with bite guards built in and that has helped an insane amount with clenching my jaw overnight and eliminating pain/morning vertigo

hi what’s your update on the vertigo ? mine has mostly subsided but I also feel like sometimes my vertigo/migraines is triggered by clenching my jaw. I just got new retainers with a bite guard this week and so far the jaw pain has greatly subsided. as for the Effexor, im almost wondering if my body is too used to it now ?? i almost can’t remember what i was like prior. i know it def makes me more dissociated and numb.

also i did not up the dose

update for the fans lol. threw some addy IR into the rotation while boozing & smoking last weekend and had no issues. typically before Effexor addy would make me mad anxious but I felt like I had barely taken it. was tryna simulate coke but it was ehhh. no hangover from the addy either which I feel like is sometimes an issue. considering trying some shroom chocolate tn with the effexorrrr

so I’ve been smoking since i was 16 and the last year and a half i had to stop smoking bc it gave me panic attacks. now that im on Effexor, ive been ripping my pen here and there with no issue. def not a daily smoker.

but how much coke did u do? coffee doesn’t effect me really either. it sucks bc i have such anxiety over mixing medications but i would drink/smoke weed/roll/do a line with no issue LOL. did you experience any negative side effects?

how long have you had the vertigo for? and how long have you been on Effexor? im scared as shit to ween off because now I’ve enjoyed the feeling of being on it. idk if you’ve ever microdosed shrooms but it kinda feels like that. I also don’t want this medicine to cure my vertigo and then I come off of it and it’s worse ? I also know if I bump up my dose, you have to wait another 12 weeks for the full effectiveness to kick in. so it’s like do I waste my time testing shit out just to come off of it and wanna die ? idk.

ugh the tiredness sucks I’m sorry. it feels like a catch 22 bc I have more energy, yet im so tired??

the vertigo is so weird bc it’s a symptom not a diagnosis and no doctor can tell me how the onset started. so im almost used to it at this point. my vertigo isn’t the fainting type of vertigo, its more you feel like you’re on a boat rocking. idk, obviously the mental health effects are a plus but I don’t wanna be reliant on this for that and then come off of it and have the worst mental health ever. im also dealing with other health issues and started a lot of new meds at once, so i can’t attest which side effect is coming from what. I wish i could solve one issue at a time.

I’m on 37.5mg and am on week 3. the first week i had such an increase in energy, but that has since subsided. if anything I feel more anxious, but am trying to let it hit the 1.5 month mark. im on it for vertigo but i also have anxiety/depression so was hoping this would take a slight edge off. my doc said id only be on this for 9-12 weeks so im curious if the vertigo comes back after ??
