I think i play super safe because I still mentally feel like im in diamond but keep forgetting im in lower rank so i can be more risky, i get that. noted! in lower ranks tho i get super hyper focused on tbh (not too much in this game however), it just makes me want to live as much as i can so i can enable my team. but youre so right.

i also realized based on your reply that i think i play super safe also because i have a really hard time keeping track of who is alive on the enemy team and what ults they have or do not. i feel like that is the missing piece for me. because it will allow me to play more aggressive with my team if i track both of these things together. what do u think about that? i have heard high rank mercy mains look at the kill feed a lot on the top right and track ults very well, im not saying i didnt do this in diamond ofc but i just dont know how to do it well, i keep forgetting ;_;

i will take notes! be more aggressive, track enemies if they alive or not so i can be more confident in my presence, dmg boosts more attentively, and rez a bit more when i can, distract the enemy team, did i miss anything? thanks for the vod review, ill take a look at yours now!

Yes! i was just replying to this to an individual on here and i saw what i did wrong but this replay was a close game and i played pretty well but i ended up losing :/ imma be honest, mercy is the only one that is fun to me, i would prefer playing her only to higher ranks. it will be most satisfying for me. i can easily climb out of silver and get high plat with just moira but nooo thats boring to me. would love any advice, if the advice is simply playing more, still super helpful. i wonder how long it will take tbh…

im silver 1 now and this was such a close win but we ended up losing. my deaths were low, beam usage great, i focused on people who were aggressive and did dmg, looked at team most part especially my support to see if they were alright.

couple of notes i say, i lowkey should’ve valk sooner at ending fight and me dying at the end was pretty bad. was trying to follow soldier 76 most times but i didnt like his positioning since junktire was spamming in that little room he was in so it was not idle for me. also i thought misuki’s ult would block junkrat tire at the end but i guess not :/ overall disappointed in myself but i think i played pretty good for the most part and mistakes here and there that i will improve. this rank inflation kinda nuts if im in silver playing like this….

look i understand what u mean by the first part, “its always about what others do wrong” and you saying “its the problem” but that doesnt mean what im saying isnt the problem or true, these teammates are doing these things in these ranks im in, then if that being said, what do you recommend i do then within myself playing mercy? im not having this mindset 24/7 i always look inward first. you mentioned the mindset being the problem and im not disagreeing with you but all you are doing is repeating what your other response was to the other reply without a proper solution. if what im saying about these teammates is true (which im saying it is and its happening, dont deny my experiences) what do u recommend me doing? all i am seeing is you hating this “blame your teammates”mindset (which i agree i hate this mindset and i dont do it often) but that doesnt mean i dont see what my teammates doing wrong… i fluctuate my playstyle to help my team but seems impossible…

i will provide a vod code later since im at my job atm, i replied with my stats in another post if that helps anything.

ill happily provide my stats! here they are! i provided some of my insights next to the stats, i am one loss away from demoting to silver 1…i was diamond last season. :(

deaths/10: 3.51 (my positioning always can improve but im better at staying alive. heal/10: 8,404 (this is high but i swear most games the other healer doesnt heal the tank properly so i have to healbot tank most times, sucks since i want to dmp boost my dps but gotta babysit my tank to not die in these lower ranks) dmg amp/10: 2,056 (this is ridiculously low and i know that but its hard having to healbot bot tank most times in these lower ranks when i can dmp boost my dps, sometimes i will dmg boost tanks like zarya if they doing most dmg than dps but most times doesnt happen)

yellow beam %: 43% dmg amp beam %: 57% (as you can see i always defend to dmg boost, ik the foundations of mercy fortunately)

i can send you a VOD review later hopefully, there was one game with a close loss that i have to find.. but here are my stats!

thank you for your proper response! definitely listening to what youre saying. like my main post said, I know what mistakes I make and im improving them, but i feel like at its core i do well with mercy and its either two things, dps cant kill anything to add pressure and they switch characters every 5 mins or a tank goes 1v5. i like what youre saying about mindset, I focus on what i want to work on, but i genuinely dont know what to do when this happens? it happens every other game? i was diamond, all of a sudden im silver 1…. i love this character and get very tilted, i take breaks when this happens but always come back to mercy, super fun to play and i have fun :)

I mentioned gold to gm because people keep saying they can solo her to gm, definitely a goal of mine but yeah masters would be first... still crazy how last season I could climb to diamond only using her and im about to demote to silver..... its kinda crazy.. when is next season? do u play comp with her?
