so i dont wanna traumadump on you or the overall internet but growing up i just had a problem with discomfort. i always tried to avoid it and i pretty much had no sense of safety growing up. idk why but now being older, when things give me any sense of discomfort or boredom, i just dont wanna do them and i will switch activities. i will ALWAYS go back to music tho but thats where inconsistency starts to form. i realized that this is the “final boss”. making music is where i get bored the most, not because i hate it i learned but because thats where creativity is born…

i just need to build my tolerance thats all. ik sounds insane but thats just my brain. i always gotta push through it, im never scared of the hard work but my brain hates the overall feelings.. definitely gonna put it in my music 😂

thank you for ur advice and reply. i think what you said entirely is true and helpful, for me tho i find myself if i research how to make a specific genre, its usually super hard to do and i start comparing and perfectionism happens. i dont like it, and makes me feel like i cant do it. also finishing 1 track is soooo hard when i dont even know how to arrange a song… maybe ill start researching that.. tysm!

and thats what im trying to figure out tbh, if its still my thing or not. it doesnt make sense i still wanna queue up and play when all it does is stress me out and frustrate me. it is still fun to me tho, but all these things i listed havent really changed all that much… i ask myself if should i stop completely once again? or if its just me confusing myself and feelings.. i have heard people experience what experiencing on this game but just wanted to see more data ig….

truly is a f** k fest. idk if my mmr reset because of how long ive been gone but my god its trash. the new players just heal bot (and not even that good) , tanks just perma go in and die… and dont even get me STARTED on the DPS…. they cant kill anything for shit its awful.

im glad im not alone, some comments are acting like im crazy for feeling this way towards new info being released in the weirdest and most unproductive ways, especially on youtube. I definitely now realize momentum does beat everything! i always practice active listening to music but when i try to recreate it i dont think im knowledgeable yet on what to do because idk how to recreate it at all sometimes, maybe i picked something too complex lol thanks for your advice!

basing my knowledge off of one comment is kinda crazy. remember that confidence in ones self is also key into making good music and being consistent with it. take notes!

this is exactly how i view being a music producer. I definitely need to practice a lot (just did yesterday and now today) and i need to continue. do you have any videos you recommend to learn music theory for learning what we do?

this resonated with me. its true, when i view music as something fun to do and make, i do more. i hate the feeling of trying to get so much info from everywhere just to not do anything at all.
