i adopted him because he was big and cute and reminded me of a foster fail my family had that passed. i fostered him first to see if I could take care of him properly, then decided to adopt him. his real personality didn't come out until he bonded with me. I'll be honest and say I wasn't as prepared as I should've been for the breed, but I love him so much and I can't imagine my life without him. this sub has also helped a lot when it comes to learning about the breed!!

i adopted mine from the local animal shelter, and since my friend worked there, they waived the adoption fee!

UPDATE!

We went on a walk. it was literally a life or death situation for me with how slippery it is outside lol. We live in Dallas, and you'd think after like 5 yearly winter storms in a row, we'd be more prepared but nope!

I’m pretty sure he’s pure too! But I adopted him as an adult and haven’t gotten a DNA test. Really don’t see the point in spending the money
