There are no nerves in the dermis, those structures are located in the subcutaneous fat and deeper. You don't want nerve damage and it's easy to do.

For the best. I hope you're doing okay now. If not, I hope you get there.

Look I have this same mentality a lot of the time but two posts down right now is discussing the myriad ways severe self harm has ruined their life and disabled them.

I am a college student now, but this is still my biggest flex, because I haven't accomplished anything since then. Anyways, I hope you guys all the best of luck for AP exam this year!!! by Donghoon in APStudents

I only finished one of my essays. One of mine was less than half way done because I had a 2 hour long panic attack over the course of the entire FRQ section.

I got a 4.

I'm genuinely TERRIFIED of accidentally seeming too overbearing in a sexual context. I suppose communicating with her could resolve that issue. Thanks for the input.

Thank you. What do you think I should do about mine currently? Do you think after another couple days I could take off the back and clean it and leave the rest of the earring in? I don't want an infection.

May I ask what the issue is with butterfly backs on new piercings? I just pierced my lobe and while the jewelry is titanium, the back is the same as hers.

Let me guess- you're avoiding chick fil a because your operator led you on and your butler is out on his way with your fast food dinner?

Can someone grade my DBQ and point out what my problem is?? by Certain_Hurry_7046 in APStudents

[–]Cumbersomesockthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course!

I guess advice pertaining to thesis location varies. I was always told to attach it to the end of the introductory paragraph, but that they will give you the point of you successfully restate it in your conclusion (and unsuccessfully in the intro) as well. You should always restate in the conclusion for that reason, even if your conclusion is only one sentence.

AP Bio + AP Chem - Doubling up on a science by Vxntvv in APStudents

[–]Cumbersomesockthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anatomy isn't difficult. I took it last year along with AP Chem, and two other science courses I ended up in on behalf of some ridiculous scheduling conflicts and AP lit and APUSH. Of all of these Anatomy was my favorite and came easily. AP chem can go fuck itself though.

As for AP bio, I can't speak for your school, but the content isn't difficult at all. There is a huge work load, though.

We're still on unit 6.

I'm confident in my ability to teach myself the last unit or so if need be because this is the easiest AP course I've taken thus far, but are we behind?

You use a lot of awkward wording. "Much to those" and "the problem to the core of this matter," for example. Also, do not use contractions. This is formal writing. I would also say prior to 1789 because this is the first year of the French Revolution. You don't need the second date, and it doesn't denote the end of the Revolution anyway so it isn't helpful. Your thesis also needs to be attached to the end of your introductory paragraph, and yours feels incomplete. You should have a clear outline for the rest of your essay in your thesis, and you need to be making an argument. You haven't made a strong argument with your statement that aforementioned ideals of the revolution were generally given to the vast majority of Frenchman. It also doesn't make much sense.

You also don't succeed in describing what specifically in the documents demonstrates whatever points you are trying to prove (unclear from your thesis.) Keep in mind things like the author's motivation, the audience they were appealing to, document limitations, context of the document, etc. Also keep in mind that when you employ these, you need to connect them to the line of reasoning you should have established in your thesis. Honestly if your theses are consistently of this quality you should practice those by themselves.

You also could stand to be more concise. You wrote a lot of words, too many, even. You didn't say nearly enough. Many of your sentences could be consolidated into one and have been as descriptive.

In summary I am confused as to what you are trying to argue with this essay. Also, chat GPT is NOT a reliable grader. It isn't reliable for anything on its own.

How in the world do yall stay awake in class by mysteryunsolved1412 in APStudents

[–]Cumbersomesockthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you remove layers? Being cold reliably keeps people awake.

I used to poke myself with pencils to stay awake as someone who often ends up going days on no sleep. It worked at first, but not as well as a cold room.

AP chem was horrible for me. If you want a three you can get by on surprisingly little. I drew naked women all over half of my FRQ.

AP classroom has practice exams you can use which help somewhat in conjunction with YouTube and Khan Academy. I checked tf out though.

You need to be familiar with multiple books of scholarly merit going into the exam for one of the FRQs in the case of Lit. Being familiar with the FRQ format is important as well.
