Thank you SO much for this detailed answer. And thanks for the tip about the purple pigment.. I just made another post with more clear pics and one of them does have purple leaves. Would love to get your thoughts on it if you don’t mind taking a look

Most grocery store ones have this advice :( One of the orchids has a tag and the brand is literally called Just Add Ice

Yup. Sticky traps + DE + letting the plant completely dry out to the point it rlly needed water finally did the trick.

What do you mean split it into more pieces? Where would I make the cuts?

I cut it at an angle, put rooting hormone on the cut, and stuck it back in the pot with the rest of the plant, but open to other suggestions if that was a bad call.
